I heard that some Italian guy was suing the catholic church because he claims that jesus never existed. Does anyone know more about this?

Yes, this Boston Globe article states that his lawsuit was dismissed: http://www.boston.com/news/world/europe/articles/2006/02/09/judge_shelves_case_over_jesus_existence/?rss_id=Boston.com+/+News

With love in Christ.

Good luck to him, he'll really need it , )
Just kidding.
The existence of the Church is a proof of the existence of Jesus, People don't let others kill them for someone who wouldn't exist.

This kind of thing happens every year or so......... usually fizzles out when the person suing runs out of money.

Unlike the Child Abuse law suits.

I haven't heard anything about it, but if it's true, I doubt he will win. He would have to prove that Jesus never existed.

Yeah, I think I've heard of it. Nothing will come of it. I mean, he can't prove it anymore than they can prove he did.
