How do people of that religion feel about the victims of 9/11? I know that they do not support the government. Do they feel like the victims deserved it? (This is what someone told me-so I am just wondering if that is true)

for now, two good example comes to my mind:

We use the word "freedom" so much that we forget about the moral value. I think we are in a point that we are abusing the word freedom.

1) support of gay marriage
2) pornogrphy

map shows 2/3 in modern day germany and 1/3 in italy.
thus rev. shows the 1/3 following Satan rebelled against God and His angels. Basically proof God will alway be Germanic ROMAN.
But if the italia disloyalists win the God could be killed in WAR.
Who would you support if God and Satan gave you a choice?
Cause i predict WAR is on the horizen.

What if someone just won't convert to Christianity, do you think their trying to be a good person is completely useless and they should just give it up?
So would you tell an atheist they might as well be as bad as they wanna' be seeing as they need not fear any detrimental repercussions?

Just now, I found out that earlier today my sister Dorothy had a miscarriage. If you read my questions before, you know who she is. If not, let me sum it up (skip the next paragraph if you already know how she is):

She's a violent bipolar drug addict who is married to a drug addict, and because they're drug addicts and she had two kids with him, the kids (ages two and three) have autism. She didn't really take care of them at all. She has a year left to live. She left her husband + children for a violent guy she met in Detox (he works there) and had sex with him + got pregnant, and is engaged to him. She then left to California with him -- which is where she is now. She has stolen from + lied to people in the past, and was never really home for her children when she lived here in the apartment.

Now, for the actual question...

... was it ethical of me, when she told me, for me to have burst out laughing & say, "Good, the baby's in a better place and is safe now."?

Brad Pitt is really playing hardball now. Knowing full well that hes robbing us of a national day of celebration...Brad Pitt is now holding American happiness hostage with his threat not to marry Anglie Jolie in the blood drinking / tattoo cermony weve all been waiting for.

He wont consider marriage until all people can marry...he kept it vague but we know what he meant.

This is a heavy handed tactic and I dont know what to do myself. Before Brad Pitt's threat, I was in the middle on the issue. While I have no problem with gay marriage personally, I still would like to see some research that shows whether there could be a long term impact on the 'institution' of the nuclear family currently shouldering the expense for child rearing...thats it. No hidden agenda for me, Im agnostic and dont spritualize this issue.

But, as I say...now that Brad's issued this threat...oooohhhh...what to dooooo...

Christians, Atheists, Agnostics, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Wiccans, FSM followers and whoever else is out there: Does the distinct possibility that there is no point to all of this (our lives, our existence, individually and collectively) bother you at all? Also, If we knew for a certainty that things are completely random and there's nothing out there, then don't morals and values go out the window? Because what difference would it make? (I'm not saying that's how it is or should be, I'm agnostic, I just want to know what you think.)

If X in the unknown quantity, and if Christmas is a celebration of Christ's birthday, why do people refer to Christmas as Xmas. Is it just lazy writing?

The Bible tells us of a story where Jesus shares a small amount of fish and bread with thousands of people. The reason why the world is filled with sin is because people don't share.

I have spoken to many christians who don't believe the rules and guidelines of the old testament apply to them. Why is this the case?
If the bible is the word of god, shouldn't you follow the whole thing, not just the parts you agree with?

TEMPLE TREASURY
Do you seek the Temple of the Lord?
His Dwelling Place, told in His Word?
Would you gaze upon His face?
Would you stand within the Holy Place?
Would you look upon His finest treasure,
The thing that brings Him greatest pleasure?
Would you seek Him where He lives today?
In the Inner Sanctum where His children pray?
What glories there would you find?
Great riches of what type and kind?
You'll find no statues, grand and tall,
To make you gaze in silent awe.
You'll find no vaults of silver and gold,
As were in His temple in days of old.
You'll find no soaring works of art…
Only a simple, loving heart.

Because I see a lot of christians who are very boastfull and commit a lot of sins. Or maybe it's just me? And I am not saying all christians because I come accross a lot of righteous ones. But for some odd reason, they don't think like the other christians. Why is that?
