Look, you don't have to support Gay marriage. You aren't gay (well, maybe), so don't have a gay marriage. But, to tell others that they can't do something based on your religious book and beliefs and make laws about it is ridiculous. We aren't talking murder here. It's something that two people who love each other do that really effects no one but them. Why people get so upset about the sanctity of marriage, the same people who listen to thrice married Rush Limbaugh and twice divorced Newt Gingrich, is beyond me. Don't attend weddings of gays - fine. Expel people who are gay from your religion - fine. But don't pass laws simply because you think that it's icky and a two-thousand year old books that talks about goat sacrifices may be interpreted to say that it's wrong.

Agree with 1 and 2. We are so wound up in our computers, our MP3 players, our Black Berries, that we don't have time for God. And usually we go to Church and promise that we will do everything for him. But in actuality, we don't. We are so lucky and we take things for granted. People in other countries don't have all this freedom and the liberty that we as Americans have. Other countries government or economy is so corrupt that they don't even live by the word "freedom" and they're not free. We should remember that in our Nation, we are allowed to have a freedom of religion, speech, happiniess, to bear arms. And we forget about why we are really here and what we should really be doing.

Yes, an abomination towards God, Just as all sin is in His sight.
I don't follow the old testament idea that they should be stoned, cleansing the evil from the encampment.
Is this really a question, of a rant on your point of view?

If you're using an archaic, dated, and inaccurate book to live your life by than I feel for you. What right have you to judge whats "moral"? It's up to God (if there is one) to ultimately be the judge. With respect to gay marriage two people in LOVE regardless of gender preference isn't sinful...and what they choose to do in the privacy of their bedroom isn't for you or to dictate. And if porno keeps a few rapists off the streets than so be it (Child porn accepted...that's exploitation and isn't a good thing). PEACE!

I am afraid that we, myself included, have gotten away from the teachings of the bible. The moral value of our world has declined so much that it is almost not even there.

Not everyone is a christian, so no, we all don't have to follow the bible. The bible isn't exactly the best moral guide out there as it is.

The bible, toran and koran have passages that contradict themselves and they imply god is all-knowing, then turn around and act like he doesn't know s*it (like judgement day...what is it exactly that god learns in the afterlife that he didn't know before conception?)
So, no, it is best to let the books fade out.

Give me a break.
I bet you probably look at Muslim countries and think they are crazy, repressive, and inhumane. If we formed a Christian Theocracy, as your suggesting, it'd be the exact same thing.
