Food for thought: The best way to know your enemy is to study all you can about them. So it is also possible hes not wanting to convert to the darker side so to speak but could feel motivated to fight against it. What better way to do this then by learning ahead of time any tricks they make pull?

There is not much you can do. Just because he is curious about other beliefs, does not mean he is going over to the dark side. Has he changed his habits in any other way since he started reading the books? I am a devote Catholic. And I have read books on other religions, cultures. And even atheist to try and understand how other people think and feel.

This is very interesting, but as individuals we can`t do nothing! Peoples must unites, but yet again, those who put this machine in march, know that it takes a critical mass of peoples to change things in our favor! Their machine is so well made, that the social leverage they got over everybody is so great as to scare peoples even more if they work against them!! Sadly we have reach a point of no return! No elections could change this, no political reform could change this, only the whole population of United States of America could change it... Not a group, not an individual, EVERYBODY! Before the church was capable to mobilized the mass, but even those are now under control of the elite. My realistic solution to me, is to move out of this place before the system eat me... Where to go? ....This is a simpler question to answer than how to do!!

There is nothing wrong with being curious. Knowledge is powerful but I would encourage him to proceed with caution when delving into the dark side. The best thing you can do for him is pray that God will help him to see the truth in all that he seeks answers for.

this is a very serious problem. no matter how much you love him, you are going to tell him to make a choice, you or the "... dark culture books". then you will know if he loves you or the dark side best. you don't want to be involved with the dark side, even if you weren't a christian.

Hi Miss R,
with much prayer- share your genuine concern with Him. You have to be prepared that doing the will of God (speaking the truth in love) may not always be received well (and i'm not sure how your boyfriend will react- and where he is with his faith) but i think your heart is to protect him from danger- and there's no way to do that in subtlely.
Feel free to email me and i'll try to help you- i'm a youth pastor. But i think you know him best and how it is affecting him and if it is not affecting him in a good way- you should do your best to lovingly tell him to stop- even though he may think you are being nosy, controlling, etc.
Hope that helps,
Nickster

If you were raised as a Christian, then shouldn't you defer to your husband's judgment?
Seriously though, have you tried talking to him about it? Other than that there is really no other way you can do anything without crossing some ethical boundaries.

I can see why you are scared. Education can be very dangerous. He might learn that Christianity is a myth. It's far better to remain ignorant and live in a deluded world. If you poke his eyes out, he won't be able to read anymore. Good luck to you.
I'm sorry -- I keep telling myself that I'll stop being sarcastic, but there I go again. I'm working on self-control. Wish me luck.

Curiousity may kill cats, but it only makes humans smarter! Knowledge does not necessarily mean beliefs are changed. It is just a broadening of perspectives.
