Why do people keep ripping on the Bible and not other religions or evolution, trying to prove them wrong? Why can't they just leave the Bible alone?

my guess is many of us so-called christians would look down on her and scoff. we would guilt her about her bad desitions and shun her.

I just found out about the genocide that has been going on in Darfur and throughout the Sudan for about a year now... In this "War on Terrorism" how come we only fight the "terrorists" in the Middle East but not the ones killing innocent people everyday in Africa or South America?

catholics acknowledge St. Peter as their first pope, but St. Peter was married, but their popes and priest are not allowed to married. that is why many catholic priest are rebelling against their doctrines.

salvation seem to go family not Christ!

for example: everything parents say, you must obey them! no matter how good or bad they are! if they tell you do drugs, obey them! kill yourself, obey them! reject Jesus, obey them! family is the only way to heaven not Jesus!

parents' crimes against their children are legal! all parents are sinless!

are they true?

i felt extremely frustrated with that!

That there are a few people here (under several different names) who are not really Christians but very bored non-believers who know a few Bible verses and pretend to be hate-filled Christians? I'm a Christian and Im very aware there are some folks here who also like to try and give non-believers a bad name, but can you spot the gamers when you read them?

the devil is said to wisper in the hearts of all pulling them away from god. how do you know the devil does not influance the church and how do you know the devil did not influance the bible. i hear god calling to me and he is down a different path than most (but not all) christains. THE CHURCH IS MADE BY MAN. IT IS LEAD BY MEN. men can be pulled a stray
too many people follow a human leader. follow god not someones idea of god

2 to leave this world better that when i came
3 i dont force my opinion on others i only state it and ask that you ponder it

I am starting high school in a small town w/ very few Jewish people (that I know of). I'm not very religious, but my mom says to ask anyone that I think may be Jewish if they are and then invite them over to the house.

So how do I know? I don't understand because what if someone is half Jewish and their last name won't sound Jewish. Also the last girl I asked was Italian and she was really rude about it too.

I think of them more like small coincidences, lets put it this way:

If 10 christian people with a deadly heart disease all prayed to god, all were faithful, and did as the bible insists.

9 of them die, 1 of them survives and tells everyone (s)he knows that they prayed to god!

Do you ever hear from the 9 that died and prayed also? You don't.

Miracles = Coincidences

My brother and I were both saved at young ages. But as we got older he started to pull away from Christ. He claims he is not a Christian. Can he just decide to not be a Christian anymore after he has already been saved? I am really worried about my brother. He has fallen under the wrong crowd of people. I want him to go to church with me but he won't. Now he has moved away to college and I am afraid he will never go back to church. The main question is does this make my brother an Atheist, now? I sure hope not.
