Jesus said i and my father are one."

Peter saith unto Jesus, thou art the Messiah the savior of the world" Jesus saith unto peter, flesh and blood hath not revealed this to you, but my father hath."

Peter when asked to denounce Jesus or die-said im not worthy to die as Jesus did-crucify me upside down-and they did-Foxes book of martyrs-and history---- why would Peter die for a lie-if you lie u reject God-why would u reject God to be faithful to God.

well why would Jesus lie-He said to love God with all your heart and soul-and if ye love me keep my commandments--- when we care for someone -we desire to please them.

Do u live to please Jesus-or what is your god-that is the answer to why you dont believe Jesus -because you believe your god-be it false religion against Jesus words-even if they say he is a prophet but reject what he says-
or people who lie and say they are Jewish and Jesus was a good person-but reject the good things he says-i let Jesus forgive and save meYes

Praise God for you. He says in the Bible that a lot more Jewish people will believe in Jesus before the end. You're just one of many! : ) The biologically Jewish people (Israelis) are His chosen people. Many will come to accept His gift of salvation. And I praise Him for each one that does.

I hope someone saves you because obviously you don't have the sense to get out of a thunderstorm. Jesus never said that he was god or the messiah. His reply to Peter could be understood to indicate that Peter was hearing things, as in no one flesh and blood told you but it must of come from above. Great guy, always a people person and had a real good life philosophy bur not quite diety materiel, if you know what I mean.

Why would anyone lie? If I said I was the son of God would you serve me? What makes you think Jesus said any of it? The entire Bible is what others claimed Jesus said and no one but the author could be used for varification. Maybe Paul wrote it because he wanted a break off of Judaism and wanted to take others with him. Maybe he thought it was right. Maybe he was crazy? Muhammad claimed he was the prophet, is this then a contradiction because he claimed so?

I'm sorry but i don't understand your question. this proves your question is wrong, "Jesus said i and my father are one." , Peter saith unto Jesus, thou art the Messiah the savior of the world" Jesus saith unto peter, flesh and blood hath not revealed this to you, but my father hath." it says it plain that the father revealed this to peter and the others that this was and is the Messiah.

Those who are called and chosen by Jesus are filled with the Holy Spirit, their spirit is born anew and they have a new found understanding for spiritual things, praise the Lord for His goodness and may yet more come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

"I and the Father are one." John 10:30 . Christians are united in the belief of the Holy Trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, all one.

And St.Peter, nor millions of other believers, didn't die for a lie.

David,
When I see your "questions" I wonder why lies, arrogance, deception, and cowardly propagandists exist.
=======================
David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".

on the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). clearly this isn't about jesus.

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity.

A better question may be...Why the disciples and apostles go through being persecuted and die such horrible deaths to perpetuate that lie?

If He was who he said he was everything He ever said was truth. God's word is absolute truth.
