Since Christ said that there would be far more who declare themselves in his name, than those who actually do follow all his teaching, so I would say yes, Satan has a place in many, if not most churches. Churches are not Holy, or places of worship. The first congregations were simply places to learn. Worship is a personal thing, done at home, alone. Remember when Jesus asked who was blessed, the man who prayed at the Eastern Wall of the Temple for everyone to see, or at home for no one to see.

There has not been a Holy Place on Earth since the death of Christ, when the great curtain covering the Most Holy of the Temple ripped open for all to see that God's Holy Spirit no longer resided in the Promise Land or with the Nation of Israel. What is Holy is God's Word, and that does not mean the paper or book it is printed in. It is the knowledge. A Church cannot be Holy, the knowledge given within the church, provided it is based on accurate knowledge, and does not include mythology, spiritualism, and superstition, is what is Holy. As for when you leave this world, it will not matter whether you left it better or not, as God intends to destroy this old system and make the earth back into a Paradise.

I'll go along with your thesis.
If there are to be false prophets that arise.
Where do you think they will arise?
On the street corners or in the churches?
I say the latter.
They have been here for a very long time.
They shall get worse.
They really are slick.
How about Bennie-Hin?
There is one for ya.
I wonder if God is going to send some whackers to sort of clean the mess up a little. More than two that is.

A lesson:
If you were a powerful angel in opposition to God and killed people that were being saved.
They only multiplied and got stronger.
The next thing you would do is infiltrate the church and pervert the Gospel.
And that is what he did.

The Devil doesn't HAVE to be in the Church, the Church has been corrupt since around 350 A.D.

If you read the above book on-line, you will see (and it is written by a Catholic Priest) that all of the churches teachings from the Trinity, to Easter, Valentines, the Virgin Mother & Child, the Cross, the day of December 25th, the Rabbit & the Egg, Purgatory, Hell-fire, Rosaries, on and on all came from the original city of "ancient Babylon." Its King was Ham's (Noah's son) great-grandson and the 2nd King in ALL THE WORLD after Noah. He was also a Black Man and enjoyed Hunting Human's for sport. One day while hunting wild Boars he was torn into many pieces and his wife, Queen Semiramis found his parts (hence the story of Isis and Orisis) and had him mummified and herself (pregnant at this time) declared a Virgin Mother (she was an ex-prostitute). She soon gave birth to what she declared was the "living embodiment of the Sun, the God Tammuz whose sign was T or the Cross" and then had him sacrificed on December 25th to bring about the "re-brith" of the Sun-God. Later he was worshipped as Saturnalia. Its all in this book.

WHY IS THIS EVEN IMPORTANT? Simple, God says his worship must be done HIS WAY in purity otherwise he puts a "cloud" in front of him so that our prayers may not pass through to be answered. (Lamentations 3:44). God and God alone decides how he is to be worshipped and we can say "oh, just have a good heart and anyone who loves God will be acceptted by him." But that's cr*p. Christ himself laid out the framework on how God was to be worshipped and it was to be done a certain way without idolatry involved. Christ said the "father was greater than he was," and that he continually prayed to his father. This disallows the trinity doctrine. So, no, Satan has no need to mess with an organization that is already not working for God. What would be the USE OF MESSING WITH SOMETHING ALREADY WORKING "FOR" YOU?

You are correct, the devil can and does influence men, even men who are leaders of the Faith. It is very sad, but this is why we must be ever alert.

The Church was not made by men. It was made by Jesus Christ. He appointed men, the Apostles, to head the Church and who in turn appointed others afterwards, and so on and so forth. However, they could only lead through the Holy Spirit. This is what keeps the Church together. Men on their own power cannot do this. It is the Holy Spirit that has kept the Church together for 2,000 years and counting. As long as men - you, me, them, everyone else - keep ourselves in line with the Holy Spirit, then everything works as it should. There is peace and unity and joy and celebration in Christ. It is when men leave the Spirit, turn their back on It, that chaos and death and sin take over.

Focus on the Spirit, and everything will be at peace.

Firstly - you know that special is spelt a tad different then you have... don't you?

Second - not everyone in church follows the pastor around like a mindless puppy. I happen to go to a church were you are encouraged to ask people to validate what they are saying, and tell them straight if and how you disagree with them. I go to church to hear and be involved in discussions on life and God and not to be told what to do. If it goes against what I believe, I ask more questions or just don't do it.

Not every church is like this, but the good ones are.

First of all, you are right; at least to some extent. But realize one thing; the devil cannot whisper into a person's heart. But he can certainly whisper into a person's mind. It is up to the person whether or not they believe the lies which the devil speaks into their minds, and whether they allow his lies to get into their heart or not. If we believe something long enough, it will eventually get into our heart. Jesus gave us the power to tests the spirits; to see if they be of God. And this is certainly what we all should do when we are not sure if we are hearing from God, or from the devil. And I will say this for the benefit of other people who may be reading this answser. If you are not sure of how to test the spirits, all that you must do when you hear voices which you are not certain as to whether they are of God or not, is to literally say, "I rebuke every spirit other than the Spirit of God. Any evil spirits I command you to get gone in the name of Jesus Christ, according to the Word of God." For Jesus gave us all that are born-again, power and authority over the devil and over all of his evil angels. (Luke 10:18-19) And I can assure you that the devil will continuously be attempting to deceive you. He is such a liar. He will speak words to you, that will make you almost know for certain that it is God speaking. I know this, because He tries it on me continually. Do not take such tragic chances. Test the spirits, just as God's Word tells us to do! The devil most certainly does influence many in the church of God. Why? Because they do not do just as we have just discussed. Sadly to have to say, many churches are full of people who are influenced by the devil. If you do not believe that this is so, why did the apostle Paul have to spend so much of his time, preaching to the churches about living Godly lives; and having to get after the members for acts of sin in their lives, and in the churches. If you do not believe that the devil is a very high influence upon the church, then read about the churches in the 2nd. and 3rd. chapters of Revelations. Do you believe that God influenced these people to act the way that they acted. Most certainly not. And as far as the Bible is concerned, the devil had nothing to do with the writing of the Bible whatsoever. But as we are told in 2 Peter 1:21: "For the prophesy (or the Word of God) came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." The men who wrote the Bible, were completely influenced by the Holy Spirit of God; and by no one else; including the devil. I do not know what you mean exactly by "I hear God calling to me," but you had better make certain that it is God calling you, and not some deception of the devil. And I have tried to tell you how to do so. I suppose what you mean by your next statement, that many Christians are going down a different path than the path which God would have them to travel on. And i know that this is most certainly the truth. But if they are truly Christians, they will not get very far. For God will put a stop to it. He will either convict their hearts of the wrong that they are doing, and they will repent of their sin, or they will not last for very long. It is true that the Church is made up of men, but it was most certainly not made by man. The Church was formed by the work of the Spirit of God, in the Book of Acts. And even though God has men as the leaders in the "churches" on the earth, if they continually follow the leading of God's Holy Spirit, they will not go astray. And most certainly, we should follow God, and not men. Too many people have their eyes on the preacher, rather than upon God. And if the leaders are truly leading as they should be, they will be teaching the Word of God; not just their own ideas. And your main goal, should be to know for certain that Jesus Christ is your personal Savior and Lord, and to always be obedient unto his Holy Word; and nothing else.

Very good point!!!!!!!!!!
But there is one thing that can be based as fact, Jesus died on the cross (it is historically proven and not just in the Bible), and his teaching was for all men to repent and accept Him and only Him as their Savior(not by trying to be good enough or obeying laws, because the bible plainly says we CAN'T obey every one of them). So while you make a GREAT point on most of what you say, you still need to be saved in order to get into Heaven, and your getting saved must be a sincere move to do so, and not just to keep from going to hell.

The devil is evrywhere that God isn't. God dwells in our hearts and not in buildings. The devil will enter into any crack in your armor that he can find. In churches or out. Have you ever had a lustful or prideful thought in church. Those are off target and therefore sin. Where sin is satan is.

Of course he is. The bible itself speaks of every church becoming corrupt. God is not the author of corruption, the devil is the father of confusion, therfore the devil is in the churches!
