I think of them more like small coincidences, lets put it this way:
If 10 christian people with a deadly heart disease all prayed to god, all were faithful, and did as the bible insists.
9 of them die, 1 of them survives and tells everyone (s)he knows that they prayed to god!
Do you ever hear from the 9 that died and prayed also? You don't.
Miracles = Coincidences
THEY DON'T EXIST.

As posted, a babys birth is NOT a miracle.
Baby's being born is a simple (not really) thing that happens in nature everyday.

Miracle: the birth of a baby.
Miracle: Confession.
Miracle: The Holy Eucharist.
If you would like to read of other documented miracles, there are many great books where the Vatican thoroughly studied and documented healings and happenings that had no scientific explanation. Check out The Incorruptibles, by Joan Cruz, and Miracles of the Holy Eucharist. These give accounts of miraculous happenings that were scientifically examined and no explanation could be given by science.

I agree with you. A miracle makes it sound as though it's out of reach and they're not. Now my definition of "coincidence" and yours are different. We are co-creators of all that is around us. Things come about in coincidental ways. I don't say that's coincidence because I put the intention out there and it came to pass. People around me see this all the time. "What a coincidence that you happened to call right now" "What a coincidence you found a job where you wanted to move for a higher paying salary!" ..... Deepak Chopra has a book about conincidences ... it makes good reading, for even the most hard core skeptics. "The Circle" is another good source to contemplate.

a miracle depends on your conviction if such exists. the belief of it existing lies on how it shows the proof of such. a miracle exists if no racial explanation can be illustrated or scientific proof. that is, if there is such...
though to certain degree, it does occur. i remember one, an earthquake happening on an asian country (can't recall what) where someone was trapped for 20 days... msot diggers gave up on anyone surviving, but he did. now that's a miracle. what about the tidal wave that strike southeast asia. people clung on the trees despite the strength of that tsunami... now, that's a miracle too. numerous catastrophe where more likely than not, people would die by the thousand, yet somehow, some survives, those can be quoted as miracles... even medical services have records of it too.
see, the point is, how do you rate miracle? to what extent is your definition of a miracle in order for it to be called a miracle?
just remember this, to survive in this crazy world is already a stupendous miracle to many of us...

We are living in the age of grace where God is not using signs and wonders. Don't blame God for all the things that are going on in the world. God made a perfect place for man to live in and He made him so he could live forever. Man sinned and from that point on there as been a curse on the earth. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Today we walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sin, He was buried and took my sins away and He rose again the third day for my justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Miracles do exsist. isn't a baby being developed and born a miracle? Miracles are not passed out like candy. Sometimes, someone cuts you a break and you get a little miracle. Life is a miracle all in its self. Is it not a miracle when a single daisy sprouts in the middle of a road? And DON"T say that is because of erosion.
My miracle has come. I hope that your miracle will come too.
MMuch luck to you in the future.

How can you not believe in something greater than yourself. Don't you think there has to be more? Your alive aren't you? What greater miracle is there? Each sunrise and sunset is a miracle, a special gift that God gives us each day. Love is a miracle. Do you know love? True Love? Well true love is God's love and if you don't have it, I pity you. And I pray for you.

I know of several people that have survived horrible accidents that should not have, myself included.
You can call it coincidence if you want to, but as one who was in the middle of the accident-- I call it a miracle.
I have also heard coincidence described as a situation where God chooses to remain anonymous.

Life itself is the biggest miracle.
