First, it is up to your decision to drink alcohol in moderation or smoke tobacco in moderation. I'm not promoting it. But.............

1st question. Wine was NOT fermented???? Just look at the bible. Jesus turned the water into wine. Oh ya, they were just enjoying the grape juice. Uh huh.
Real grape juice ferments very quickly. As someone else wise said in my last question.

Smoking and drinking are defiling the temple?
Then don't hang out with anyone that really loads themsleves up with sugar and junk. That's apparently okay but smoking tobacco in and drinking wine in moderation isn't???? Especially a healthy individual??

What is wrong with having a glass of wine compared to having a slice of sugary apple pie on occassion?

To me this seems more like a tradition that something God wrote in the Bible.

I'm a Mormon, and I don't understand why so many people hate us. The only reason I can think of is that Mormons USED to be polygamists, but that was stopped a long time ago. What do people have against us now?

locating more gods...THE god is not perfect. true perfection is a weakness that he has not yet acquired. no more bible references please. that document is far too old and has been altered hundreds of times. do not speak to me of a god you are not and have never met. i have spoken to him and he has shown me things.

i don't need advice from humans who have a flawed definition of godliness. being a god is a burden. one that i did not want to bare. but THE god has shown me that i am a god and always have been. he has also shown me that there are many other gods that have taken human form as well. many of them do not yet realize what they are, but some do.

i only need to communicate with other gods. and please no more petty insults. they don't suit you. you're better than that. and i must decline any offers for psychological help. i assure you i'm quite sane and the problems i'm having are because of my godly burden.

gods if any of you happen to get this, can you come forward to help me?

they were saying it may have to do with a combination of genetics and hormones. they don't know for sure what causes it, but it's obvious that they don't "choose" to be that way. another case of how the religious right is WRONG as always. they drive people away from God instead of bringing them towards God. and no i'm not gay.

As anyone who has been reading my posts for the past 2 weeks would know, I have been dealing with lust problems for the past 8 years in my life. It started at 16 and I thought that it was a teenage hormone thing and would go away but it never did.
My lust problem is a problem that I consider very serious that can ruin my life greatly if I don't get it resolved. The goal is clear. I wanna be a person with sexual integrity. I don't want to look at women as sexual objects.
But there are so many hurdles/obstacles that bother me on daily basis such as sensual magazines, free online porn, nudity in movies, sex-saturated cultures, etc...
Free online porn has been especially tough to resist for me as I can access to free images of hottest women, models within a few clicks. Right now, I feel like a hypocrite who watches sensual materials as a christian.
I will keep praying to God for support on this problem as it is beyond my power to handle. Can you guys offer me advice?

Especially before examining themselves? In our bible class, the teach us to EXAMINE OURSELVES-what kind of spirit we have within ourselves, & not others.

according to Jesus -and as a Jew i was taught to reject him and the bible so it made sin easy for me -till i realized i hurt others and myself and was going to commit sucide with lots of money and everwhat i desired lust porn-cause it couldnt keep me happy-then i repented and let Jesus into my heart to foregive and deliver me from sins, and become my best friend-amen
as he promised in Revelation 3 vs 19&20 Behold i stand at your heart door and knock....

the one sin-Jesus says is rejecting His word -the same shall judge you in the last day--John 12 vs 48

do u have a better answer than Jesus-get real---please get real-will u let yourself out of hell??? every knee shall bow to Jesus-the bible says-and explains either in this life or at the jugement seat getting cast into hell torment forever with gnashin teeth-for refusing the greatest honor on earth -to bow before the one that loved us came for us died for us rose for us and lives for us!!! thanks david

If there's a hell it implies someone goes there, right? Same with Heaven. Logic dictates then that some families and friends would be split apart. How could you be happy in heaven knowing a loved one will be tortured eternally?

Fact:
Declaration of Independence refers to 'Nature's God', a term used exclusively by Deists.
http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/index.htm

Fact:
Articles of Confederation of 1781 refer to the "Great Governor of the World," another Deist title for God.
http://libertyonline.hypermall.com/ArtConfed.html

Fact:
The Constitution of the USA does not mention God at all except in the phrase, "In the Year of our Lord," which is nothing but an english translation of "Anno Domini", or "AD".
http://www.law.emory.edu/FEDERAL/usconst/amend.html#art-1

Fact:
Treaty of Tripoli, Article eleven, categorically states that the USA was not founded as a Christian Nation, a treaty ratified by the Congress of 1979.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Tripoli

ADMITTEDLY ---
Other documents DO reference the Yahweh, however, the first three references I give are the entire basis of Law in the USA. None of the documents that reference Yahweh play a part in that basis.
