Just because you believe in something doesn't mean you worship it. I believe there is air around me. I can't see it. I can't feel it. I believe in it though. Does that mean I worship it? No. Oh, and I do not believe in the Christian God nor in Satan.

You mean polytheistic, not pagan. Paganism does not recognise satan or the bible god as real entities. Paganism is a term used for beliefs or worship in other forms of gods than the Judeo-Christian and muslim idea of a god. But i understand what you mean and i would think that Christianity is polytheistic religion since they believe in a trinity which is an idea that comes from earlier Pagan religions.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

The Bible itself does not say there is one God, it says you are to worship one God. Pagans don't follow the Bible and we don't have absolute Good or absolute Evil for the most part. The concept of Satan does not exist for Pagans. Therefore, um. No.

Good grief the ignorance.

God is God. Satan is NOT a god. Satan is a fallen angel. PLUS, you should know the difference between believing something exists and in worshiping it. I Worship God and believe Satan exists. Read a dictionary. I'll get ya started. Pagan starts with a P.

If you're gonna try and insult me, know what you're talking about first. I'm so sick of these stupid attacks.

I know that God is Satan , so what does that make me?

You can read this for yourself in your own Bible 2 Cor.4:4 Satan is the God of this world.

christians believe in one god. satan is considered a rebellious angel, which means that while he is very powerful, he's nowhere near being a god. satan was created just like everything and everyone except god. it's actually a common misconception that christianity is a dualistic religion (meaning it has 2 equal and opposite powers, god and satan) but that's actually a distortion of historical christian thought.
