It is common in the English language to address issues one at a time, and in the order presented. That is a common courtesy. Or at least it used to be.

because some people have a hard time just saying what they want to say. they have to beat around the bush and find a snazzy way to begin their answer. Second of all, they are just listing their answers.

Well first of all you should stop putting others down blah blah blah say the preachers, because they never want to (or can't) answer the question being asked.
