"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstein -

NO Religious faith is not blind. Hebrews 11:1 tells us it is the assured expectation of realities though not beheld.

Religious faith is built on knowledge of what God has done and gives us confidence in what he will do

chemirabal,
Blind, I think is used as a synonym to ignorant. You can be ignorant, but especially if you don't know what it is you are 'faithing' about. If you use the word faith as a verb, the application changes the use of it.

People say all the time, "You've got to have faith." But they never explain what it is that you have faith about. For a Christian, you pick a promise from God and apply it to the circumstance. That's living the life of Faith. "Faithing" is trusting God to keep His promises. In order to not be "Blind", you have to know what He promised. Hence, Bible reading is big for Christian 'Faithers'.

No, it's lazy. Faith is something you do in place of critical thinking.
