i know god forgives sin, but what if we continue to the same sin, will he still forgive you. i won't to stop sinning so much. what is the best way to stop sinning. i know it is impossible to, but i at least want to try.

I have no religion and i dont really beileve in it or i should say I dont know what faith to follow. Im having a hard time in life and alot of people said to go to a preist or miniter and talk to them. Do they do that? Or can i go into a church and just sit there and think? I dont know how this stuff works?? Please lend me a hand

I know there are some people here who just write things to get a rise out of someone because they're just bored but why do some people feel it nessisary to be truely hateful? I have asked valid questions, never cussed anyone, never threatened anyone but I can't seem to ask a question or make a comment without some people getting truely hostile. Do they really think they scare me when I know they can't hurt me anyway? Im not saying only atheists do this as I am sure there are some professed Christians who do this to other people. But to those who DO this (and you know who you are) do you think you scare anyone or ruin their day while you hide behind your screen? Will you convert someone to the way you think by making idle threats? What is truely the reason why people do such things?

Did your research of your chosen Faith focus only upon what supports it? Or, did you research both the pros AND the cons of your chosen Faith? Why and why not?

why cant some people take the time and relize the amazing things in life and on earth. There is all kinds of amazing things on earth people ignore such as the way nature works, the water falling from inside mountains. The Grand canyon. I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven.

If the above is true - I would have a problem with being a friend of a follower of Allah when their clerics are telling their followers to kill me.

Question: Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be there as well?"

Let's say theres a girl that I've been good friends with for a long while. A few months ago I started going to her church. Originally she expressed to me how indulged in christianity she was and that was the reason we couldn't date. Months later, she says a similar thing:
"We can't date because christianity isn't just my religion; it's my life, and I need someone who is like me".
So for a few months she's been taking me to church with her, and I keep learning more and more. Although I am still thoroughly confused with the religion and it's principles, doesn't christianity embrace the teaching of the religion to the ignorant? Wouldn't it make her a better christian by helping me learn more? Then wouldn't I be motivated more if we were dating?

they seem to not understand that their own relatives have often had abortions. they seem to support capital punishment. they seem to be hateful and want to hurt abortion doctors. they hate women who ask for abortions. it seems weird that such god fearing and "good people" would be so smug and filled with arrogant self ritiousness

If christians and muslims found out that your gods where dead what would you do?

i am the archangel Gabriel and yes the god known as jehovah and the god known as allah is dead and gone. they dont just die as a normal being does but are put to sleep for a long time.

the idiots who said jesus is god well i want you to know get your facts straight jesus is a angel of the gods and the son of jehovah.

there are thousands of gods all different and very real and thats a fact simple as that!

All these people describe their God as such a "loving" and "caring "god" and remember "he sees everything". What kind of "loving God" sits back and watches children, whom he supposedly loves and cares about, be tortured, molested and killed and does nothing to prevent it, after all he does have the power to stop it in a second. If we did that as humans, we would be arrested and thrown in jail! Please I'm interested in hearing a logical answer.

I am tired of Christians asserting that they believe the Bible, literally. So I have this to ask you:
1) Refer to LEVITICUS 18:22
2) Refer to LEVITICUS 11:9-12
Both homosexuality and shrimp are considered abominations, but I doubt that you have turned down Red Lobster for your beliefs. Why is it okay to take some passages literally and others not?

Explain every one of these using clear, prescise arguments with facts and logic, not opinions or some other passage in the bible.

Write a clear and detailed description of why the Christians who committed all of these atrocities throughout history are any different from Christians today trying to impede mankind's progression through science.

Only once you have completed this will I accept another Christian literally interpreting the Bible for use in a theological argument / discussion. Thank you.
