Both rely very heavily on the metaphorical, but I'd go for T.S Eliot because that's just me.What about anyone else?

Have you ever noticed that persons answering a question such as mine love to find even a tiny error in the question? They seem to think that if they can find a mistake in the questioner's spelling, punctuation, or grammar, that will justify them when they murder the English language. I am sorry, but if the questioners makes a typo or other error, that will not make you right. By the way, criticizing me for posting this in the religious section, will just prove that you have little imagination, or are afraid to do anything original. It will not make you right, no matter what criticisms you make. How about doing a little intelligent thinking before you run off a hasty ill-considered reply to me and others posting questions in this section? (I am sure some of you will still not get my message, but I expect that!)

God is a nice guy. so is santa clause. so god = santa = satan (rearranged).

if god is the creater, who destroys that which he creates? himself. god had two faces, taking on both roles so he can watch over both sides. so neither is better. the better is in the center where equilibrium lies. lucifer is the man.. went ahead to fight the known-unknown while god stays back to lead his children.

back to when i was asking who destroys... answer: girls! girls tear down the cold barrier i had once built around my heart, stabbing it with their ice picks.. oops lost my train of thought.

ok...this was bugging me and a good friend
how do we know that evil isn't trully good? i know..dumb question...but think about it. how do we know, that some higher force (i am not saying God, just a random higher force) brainwashed our minds or something to make us believe that what we do is good, when in reality, its evil? how do u we not know that the evil ones are the ones doing the good?
i know this sounds like a dumb question and all, but i want to see different views...and please..no bible passages..

Millions of people go through terrible things, only to have that
take them to greater heights as a human being. So why do some
hate?
Is it because they can't stand themselves? And the reason they
can't stand themselves is because of the selfish way they act?

My wife remembers learning something about this at the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit. We both remember their reasons being for something other than spiritual cleanliness.

I think that the more major prophecies will fall into place very soon.

Religion is being blamed for a lot of things these days. Many people have accepted atheism. Many people have developed a strong hate toward religions. They feel that they should be obselete.

There is a crazy war going on in the mideast right now. It may escalate to major deaths worldwide. When the antichrist steps in and stops the war with the promise of peace worldwide he will also convince the people even more that religion is wrong.

As he sits on his throne, ruling the world, all humans will be forced to do as he says and will be executed if they oppose. This goes for Christians and Jews as well. Seeing as how now most of the Earth have a strong hate for religion they will be more than happy to see religious folk be murdered. Especially when they refuse the mark of the beast.

I mean, they are an atheist after all, so even if they cured a horrible disease, and helped save hundreds of thousands of lives, not counting those saved in the future after the cure was found, the doctor would go to Hell because they don't believe in God. Right? Or is there something that I'm missing?

My main concerns are the cry at midnight to meet him and that while most people are scrambling he takes the wise. And his response to the foolish and late is I don't know you the door is shut. It seems to me that if it were Pre-Trib, that people would still have a chance to receive grace?

For the non-Christians, I respect you 100%, but don't need your opinion. Thanks!

Thomas Jefferson said "Erecting the 'Wall of Separation' between church and state ...is absolutely essential in a free society.

The Moral Majority (fundamentalists, evangelicals, etc.) hold 60% of the vote and growing. I find this alarming. Does anyone else?

Charles Tart proved or so he says that an Out of Body Experience had occured, he put a number (5 digits I think) on top of a ledge above someone that was sleeping in a lab type setting and monitored that person, apparently this person when they had woken up was able to say what the number was but yet it required that the person would have had to stand on something to see the the number, which they did not do.

If this happened, would this not be proof that an OBE had occured, and so prove that there is indeed a soul? Thanks for answering my last question by the way.
