I agree that it is close, but - You are forgetting that God will rapture his church - he says that those who follow him and have accepted him will not go through the tribulation, but be ruptured and he would come like a thief in the night. When the peace treaty for Israel is signed by the Antichrist, then the 7 year tribulation will start. This will be the last time people will be given the chance to follow and accept Jesus. If they don't however - they will get the mark of the beast and there will be no turning back - but the people that are left behind and find Christ, they will get the seal of God. Then after the 7 years, God will make his return known to everyone and he will reign on earth with his people for 1000 years before going to Heaven for eternity.
And of course the people that will not be with Jesus will be elsewhere ---- way down below!

I don't believe that all atheists "hate" religion and would be happy to see "religious folk" murdered. I for one am an agnostic, and have friends that believe in a higher being and those who don't.
This mix of believers and non-believers are also friends with each other. They wish no ill will to other and keep their opinions about religion separate from other aspects of their friendship.
To say that most of the Earth has a strong hate for religion..well that's an overblown assumption/opinion with no backing behind it. It also [possibly] contradicts itself in saying that atheists would be happy to fall under Satan's' rule. Atheists, my friend, would deny Satan as much as they would a benevolent higher being. ..it's not about good/bad it's about the idea of religion as opposed to logical scientific thinking/explanations.
Finally, your stance [ or religion of choice ] is unclear. ..the last paragraph being particularly unclear. "this goes for Christians and Jews as well" what? That sentence just doesn't fit into whatever it is your trying to say, a message that even after re-reading your "question" I have not quite figured out.

You're absolutely correct, religion is evil.
Religion is responsible for the majority of wars, conflict and murder of innocent life since humanity began. There is considerable evidence to classify religion as evil, and talk of religion (Gods etc) should be banned. Because the records prove over and over again throughout humanity that religion is clearly responsible for crimes against humanity, taking part in any religious activity should also be outlawed and made a criminal offence.
The world would be a much happier and peaceful place if religion ceased to exist. Although there are some decent religious believers and preachers, they are unwittingly spreading evil around our world, and that they should simply keep their beliefs and thoughts to themselves in the best interests of humanity, or suffer the consequences for their actions.
People should consider that the world would be like Heaven if religion ceased to exist, but all the believers and preachers have turned the planet into Hell.

This is for all of you who have said "the end of the world has been near for almost 2000 years"...
Remember this...To the Lord, a thousand years seems like a day, and a day seems like a thousand years. Jesus Christ is not being slow in His return. He is being patient for all of us, because He wants us to all have adequate time to repent and be saved. He loves all of us so much that He does not want to see us perish. God Bless =)

I assume you are basing your opinions on the Book of Revelations. The problem with that is that the entire book was written in a metaphorical sense and is very wide open to literally hundreds of interpretations. And I thought T.S Elliot was bad!!!!
