So...I'm a cradle Catholic. At times I feel a bit shaky in my faith, but I've always stood by it. And...statistically speaking, it seems I'm in a minority in the whole...staying hardcore to Catholicism thing.
So...I'm just wondering how many people out there actually believe and follow ALL of the magisterium and doctrine of the Catholic Church...not just some?
Thanks.

We claim it's a relationship with God, but yet, people still say it's a religion - why is this?

Please explain.
You are typing on a computer that uses the theory of electronics and quantum mechanics to operate.
You may drive a car that uses GPS technology, which is based at least in part on relativity theory (the clocks on satellites run a little slower than on earth).
You drive a car that relies on electrical, mechanical and chemical theories to operate.
You most likely rely on some drugs a doctor prescribes that rely on molecular biology theory and chemical theory.
I could go on and on. My point is why do you have difficulty accepting evolution, which is based on the same sound science at the fore mentioned theories???
Are the others just convenient things you can use in you daily life without having to think about?
Are you just so blind to the world around you that it doesn't matter or requires too much energy to contemplate?

I've experienced this alot lately from those close to me.... Some are believers and others arent...They keep coming to me for answers! One wants me to pray for something they need a (non believer) and another wants to bog me down with their problems a( believer) and when I tell them to go to church or ask God they look at me with such discernment! lol :)....as if im being facetious....but I really mean it.... GO TO CHURCH and ask God!!!! that's who I get my answers from and even when I become discouraged I still stand true and press on cause I know I have his favor! I guess my question is... Why do folks get offended when you tell them they need to go to chruch... but would rather sit actionless complaining about their problems? I dont understand! What do they want me to do? I feel like I HAVE SPOKEN!!! I told you what to do.... to get some kind of direction and you act as if I have made an appointment to get your teeth pulled? Are people Nuts? I really try to help...

In other words, can you lose your salvation if there is no Bible verse that says that the Holy Spirit can or will unseal you before the day of redemption (i.e. before the second coming of Jesus)?

No one in the Quran died and was resurrected by God, only verses saying that God will raise the dead. Other religions too say something to that effect through reincarnation.

In the Quran, Jesus is a prophet but is known as 'the word of God'. Jesus did not die or was kill or was crucified. But God raised him without him having to die. Which means that God loved Jesus very much that he didn't allow him to die. So God has a very high regard for Jesus.

In the second coming, it is Jesus who comes down and defeats the Evil one. So God places a deep trust in Jesus for doing such a task and Jesus has Gods power.

To get into Heaven the Quran teaches that u must have faith and do good deeds. It doesn't tell u how much good deeds that you must do nor does it guarantee that u get into Heaven. So the path to Heaven is not clear.

God has a high regard of Jesus but Islam places a higher regard on Muhammed? There is a chptr dedicated to Mary mother of Jesus but no book about Muhammed's mother.

This can be part of relgious things, but on a side note i really don't take this section seriously anyways since 99% of you guys are just rediculous anyways. Just curious what people think about animal cruelty, like they deserve not to be tortured now because it's unnecessary and they are living creatures, and they shouldn't be sacrifced by evil religions in vain. it was okay in the old testament because it was commanded by the Living God for them to have their sins washed but temporarily by a lamb's blood sybolizing Jesus to come, but since Jesus died we can have our sins washed away and repent and be made perfect and receive our salvation when we grow in the spirit after the spiritual awakening and reading the word of God and preaching the good news and dying in Jesus with the Holy Spirit.

I dont claim a religion.. I believe in god though, and heaven also, but I dont go to church, and I dont really believe in the bible, I try not to take sides with any religion, but from what the bible say's, It pradicly says be the best you can be and be nice, and kind, and love, and do not harm. Other words be the best person you can be.. I elieve if I be the best I can be and do not murder, or hurt people ir anything like that than god wil accept me.. The problem is that I have been told many times that I will go to hell becouse I dont go to church or claim a religion.. I was hopeing to get some mature thoughts about this.

Wouldn't a good God understand that because of His vastness and greatness over human beings that there would be doubt of his existence, and accept all who lead good lives, try not to sin, and always try to do what is morally right? I mean, how is getting into heaven fair to people in other religions besides Christianity and Catholicism and other religions along those lines?
