In other words, can you lose your salvation if there is no Bible verse that says that the Holy Spirit can or will unseal you before the day of redemption (i.e. before the second coming of Jesus)?

Saved is saved. Period.

Romans 8:37-39 - Nothing can separate us, and nothing means NOTHING

John 17: 6-26 - Jesus hasn't lost ANY believers!

The most important thing is to KNOW you are saved, that by knowing the SAVIOR!

"Therefor, work out your own salvation in fear and trembling."

When we deny the gifts of the Spirit, we severely limit our working ability with the tools given to us by God. If we do not allow the Spirit of God to dwell richly within us; if we do not seek the fullness of the third person of the Godhead to direct and guide us constantly, we are in serious trouble.
We can take a trip, ( as our walk with Christ). By riding a $15.00 bike with two flat tires, or we can drive a new $65,000.00 Lexus fully equipped with every conceivable luxury. The gifts of the Spirit are for our benefit as well as for the ability to complete the will of God. The choice belongs to each of us.
Once inoculated in Christ and then revert to their former ways, it would stand to reason that they had never ceased worshipping their old ways. The whole salvation thing was a flirtation from start to finish. ( 1 John 2:19)
. A Christian can quench the Spirit of God as you deny the spiritual gifts given to them as a source of power and strength. James 1:22 tells us to " be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only!" The Holy Spirit cannot work in the bondage of unbelief.
When we quench the Holy Spirit we are not only limiting our proper dedication and service to God but we are actually rebuking the Father. We need to quench our personal feelings and desires, not the works of the Holy Spirit in our daily walk in Christ.
Positively, it seems that " Once saved, always saved"
( John 6:37 ; 10:28,29) ( Hebrews 13:5). Can a believer be lost? No- but don't experiement!

Once truly saved, you will always be saved. No losing it because there is no way to lose it. If you fall away, you may have never been truly saved in the first place. This is not based on feelings but on faith. If you have faith AT ALL, God will honor your devotion to him and your worship will be pleasing. If you do not have faith, it is because you do not believe enough to ask for it. The Holy Spirit possesses believers the same way a demon possesses a non-believer. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is just like channeling a demon but opposite. Who can exorcise the Holy Spirit? Only God can. Since nothing can separate us from His love through Messiah, when you by faith are indwelt by the Spirit, you are in effect sealed.

If you sin, you don't have the seal of God. Before the tribulation 144,000 people will be sealed, thereafer when the latter rain pours out on the earth and these people give a loud cry against worshipping the beast (who will persecute these people, and those that follow with them); Many more people will be saved as the Holy Spirit convicts them that what these people are doing and saying is true, then I believe those people will also be sealed and saved. - John did say he saw a multitude enumerable to be counted =)

Wow it would be sooo good to be sealed, we would be begging God to show us our sins in our lives... and we wouldn't find any!!

::edit:: also the commandments of God are the seal.
Rev 14:12, also read Deut 10 and 11, emphasis on Deut 11:18

(wow thats similar to the mark of the beast isn't it !)

I am sealed with the Holy Spirit but I still have free will. I just choose to love the Lord more and more instead of turning my back on Him.

I have heard about people who knew God quite well and when they turned their back on Him they really went too far.

Judas knew Jesus Personally and he still committed the Ultimate affront to God of Suicide.

Ok,,, look at this as "Once you were born, are you your mothers child only for a certain time?" NO, you are your mothers child forever. But you can turn your back on her, not associate with her. Disclaim her, walk away from her, do things that hurt her, etc. The same with the Holy spirit, God, Jesus, whoever you call him. You have free will, and can turn away from God. But once you claimed him as your heavenly father, you are his and he is yours. When you stray, you have to ask forgiveness for your sins to be back in his will.

"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption" (Ephesians 4:30).

No because God does not make mistakes. If you are saved always saved. But not a license to sin.
