Aren't monks peaceful?

No launching nukes would be an offensive move. Monks will not commit violence unless neccesary to save lives or defend their own, and may not even then. That's why China was able to murder them and run them out of their country so easily.

I'm afraid that this question shows your ignorance of current Chinese policy. Buddhism is alive and well in China. In fact, there was a Buddhist conference held in China THIS YEAR, with it being advertised on Chinese TV.

So even if they had the power and the malice, I think that they could see even now that China is trying to build bridges.

monks are not supposed to use violence for any reason.
now if u see some people dressed like monks and they leave a supicious package some where, u better run, cuz they are not monks
