Would God allow deliberate deviations from original translation to occur in the Bible at any time?

If not, then why was the the Bible copyrighted in 1901 to prevent unauthorized tampering of the texts by publishers that occured between the years 1881 & 1901?
Surely God would not allow His Truth to be so willfully corrupted?

If he would allow such a thing, (and recent history tells us this did happen) how is it NOT possible such a thing could have occurred in more earlier times, say, before 1611?

How can the Bible be the INFALLIBLE Words of God, if the POSSIBILITY of deliberate tampering of the text within is evident, as can be verified?

My source is the preface in my Bible sat infront of me.

What does man love more than life,
fear more than death or mortal strife,
what the poor have, the rich require,
and what contented men desire,
what the miser spends and the spendthrift saves,
and all men carry to their graves?

The first to correctly will get the best answer.

I can't wait to see this remake movie on Sept. 1. I think Nicolas Cage is hot. I like the original version also. If anyone has seen the trailers on this movie what did you think about it?

I apologize if I offended anyone with my past question but I was curious to know where these IQ tests where made.

Another question I want to ask. You claim that Christians supposedly have less intelligence than non-believers or the so called atheists, but then you also claim that the United States is full of bright and talented people. Isn't Christianity one of the biggest religions in the United States? Isn't the percent of Christians bigger than the Non-Christians?

I think you are contradicting yourself with those statements and I would love it if you took the time to clarify me this.

Thanks.

my son asked me this today.

i have read the bible, but i don't know the answer to this question.

my personal beliefs, be they religious or spiritual, do not enter in to this at all, as i prefer to (unbiasedly whenever possible) give my children the information i have and to let them make up their own minds.

he is 11 and i'll be letting him read the answers here, so i'd appreciate some reasonable answers!

Ok let's say I agree with you that Adam and Eve and all that is hogwash. Just tell me how the universe was created? I mean what was there before the universe existed? Surly science has these answers right?

Yesterday I asked whether Christians preferred having a pastor with seminary training or one without.

Approximately 2/3 of the respondents either openly stated opposition to a theology-trained pastor or saw no advantage to a seminary education. Of those who did see an advantage, half of them were seminary trained or were related to a seminary graduate.

This was not a scientific poll, but the response of the laity seems so firmly planted in the irrelevance of a theology degree that I think further research may be warranted. When seen in the context of Christians who also want to use information in the bible as a textbook in public schools, a bias against scholarly education is seems evident.

What are your impressions from your experience?

I'm not religous, but i was just wonder how you use science to prove religon is null and void when science is just as imperfect as religon, 100 years ago i could have qouted the best sceintists in the world to say that dinosuars were terrible, slow moving, cold blooded lizards or that the atom is the "smallest" thing is the world. Even today we don't know what dinosaurs were like or what the "smallest" thing is. no offense to you all it just occures to me that your fighting flawed fire with flawed fire.

The WAY OF THE WARRIOR teaches that warriors do not fight with others. They do battle with their own personal demons. Like
false pride, self-righteousness, lust, and fear. By overcoming these demons, the warrior can then live in PEACE with others.

The Way teaches that man has too much SELF-IMPORTANCE. If
someone glances in his direction, he thinks he's looking at HIM.
If two people are talking, he thinks they're talking about HIM. If
two people share a laugh, he thinks they're laughing at HIM.

King Solomon said that, "All is VANITY and VEXATION of spirit."
He used the word "vanity". Talking about EGOTISM, (selfishness and false pride).
"All is vanity and vexation of spirit." All the things humans do.
Feeling sorry for themselves. Acting bigger than they are. And pointing the finger at others. They do to make themselves feel better. Yet in reality. When they treat other this way. It only makes
them feel worse.
