Because it taught me proper use of ther Bible, it's members truely have love for one another, they prove themselves no part of the world, they truely love their neighbors, even facing persecution to preach the good news of the kingdom to everyone, it helps to build a stronger marriage based on Bible truths that others seem to overlook considering the divorce rate around the world stands at 50%, it has made me a happier less stressful person, I feel better after meetings after having spent a day in the world, it teaches me the truth about God, his son, and his purposes for mankind. I have been a Jehovah's Witness since 1998. And with them since 1995. Mike, plenty of scriptures if you care to study the Bible carefully that shows that Jesus was the first angel God created, known as Michael the Archangel.

I have been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 20 years. I am a very logical person, and the reason I chose to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses is because it was the only religion that made sense to me. The Bible is used to explain everything we believe. I have been taught from the Bible what happens to us when we die, there is no hell, why we suffer and die, what God's purpose is for the Earth, why Adam and Eve sinned, the significance of the fruit they ate, the issue of Universal Sovereignty, that my life has a purpose and most importantly, I have hope for the future. The list goes on. I am going to include a link to an article that I hope you will take the time to read.

I believe in my religion because it follows the Bible. I was raised a Witness since my birth in 1984, I did not formally symbolize my dedication to Jehovah until December 12th of 2001. To anyone who decides to answer this question by stating that they know the Bible better or that they are better Christians or anything that is not stating Why you are apart of my faith which is the faith in question, please realize you have now been reported for not answering the actual question. When someone asks a question they willingly give up points. It is wrong to accept points for an answer if you are not in fact answering the question.

I believe in this religion because we always look for information in the bible to be sure about something. Everything is always based on the bible and not human ideas. I'm not yet baptised, not until January, but I've know the truth since I was 1 or 2, so thats 13-14 years and I've never had to think twice about whether the truth is right for me or not.

because it teaches the TRUTH about the Bible.
Caution....... I was raised in the truth and had a father who was very opposed, I felt the truth was very restrictive as a teen so I married OUT of the faith. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!
After abandoning my faith for over 15 years I'm happy to say I've come to my senses and Jehovah has welcomed me back into His loving arrangement. Altogether (including the years I was alienated from the truth), I've been a witness for nearly 50 years.

I am not a Jehovah's Witness, but here is some interesting information about the word Jehovah. An abundance of data has been published for many years, documenting the facts concerning the Name Yahweh (the true correct Name of the Creator), but this was generally confined to footnotes, scriptural commentaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias, lexicons, and concordances. The information in these books all pointed to one fact; that the Creator's Name is Yahweh and that this Name was written exclusively in the most ancient manuscripts of the Bible. This fact is openly admitted, not only among scholars of the scriptures, but also among religious denominations as well.

The worldwide christian society of people who actively bear witness regarding Jehovah God and his purposes affecting mankind. they base their belief solely on the Bible.
Jehovah's witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed base on human tradition, they hold the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.
They worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about him and his loving purposes toward mankind. they believe, that God's kingdom is the only hope for mankind;that bit is real government; that it will soon destroy the present wicked system of things, including all human governments. they believe that God's original purpose for the earth will be fulfilled; that the earth Will be completely populated by worshipers of Jehovah.they believe that it is important to apply the counsel of God's word in everyday life. I've been in the truth since 1990. and I am thankful to Jehovah that he show his love to me that I know him and his son Jesus christ better by studying his word the Bible.

Jehovah's Witnesses are serious bible students. Their examination of Scripture convinces them that they have the truth.
