I'm not sure where, but it the Qur'an was compiled around 850 AD, when Arabic was made into a written language.
According to the story the Qur'an was revealed to Mohammed around 625, but was passed down orally and a few some how writen, until the 9th century when the leader of Islam decided to have it put onto paper. He had as many storie's as he could find, kept the ones that could be confirmed, and burned those that couldn't be.
The followers of Mohammed are Muslim, the religion is Islam

The Quraan was compiled a year after the death of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) in the year 11A.H .The quraan has 114 chapters called suraahs and 6616 verses called ayats.
