GOD did not make ugly people. Ugly is a human perception.

Remember, God created man in his own likeness. Maybe there are many Gods. Ugly people's God is different from the God of the beautiful people.

I'd say it was more to teach you that there is more to a person than their outer looks.
Ugly people don't need compassion - starving children need compassion. "Ugly" people just need humans to stop being so driven by the superficial.

It doesn't matter what someone looks like on the outside as long as they are a good person. Jesus loves Ugly people to.
