I know that good people who are religious go to heaven. According to religious beliefs, is there anything between heaven and hell in the afterlife? If not, explain why.

I'm agnostic just so we have that out of the way! All this talk about intelligence has me wondering. There are studies that show a correlation between being religious and lower intelligence (which I will provide if necessary) however could that be that many just rely on their faith for answers instead of continuing the search for truth? And if all the non-believers are so smart why aren't we running things instead of those "dumb" right wingers (just a term don't get your underwear in knots)?

I really wanna know!

For those against stem cell there is a new method. Those against it, are you still against it now.

What your current thoughts on stem cells anyway?

Look at it this way. I could be a total idiot and have faith in the lord. If I'm wrong, no harm done. If I'm right I've got a good shot of eternal happiness with the Lord. If you're an atheist and you're wrong then you could be screwed. So aren't stupid religious people smarter than intelligent atheist for hedging their bets and keeping open the possibility that something greater than their understanding exists. I mean are we really so egotistical in our knowledge of science and nature to say that we know for certain how life really started. Look at intelligent design for instance.

Serious answers only!
Was Jesus a zombie (Because he died and then came back to life, the definition of a zombie), and a voodoo priest (because he raised Lazarus from the dead), and a wizard (because he turned water into wine, walked on water, ect...). How do you feel as a christian about zombie worshipping, are you for it or against it?
If you don't think Jesus was a zombie (voodoo priest, or wizard), please provide evidence to support your point. Thank you.

I just love having fantasies of church ladies. Always dressed so prim and proper, and pictures of chastity and purity. Oh how I would love to read their minds and flirt with them. The odd glimpse of a naked thigh or flashing panty and down blouse. And the hugs are just great, an opportunity to touch without apology. Man am I decadent , a sicko or just a man with oodles of testosterone. Probably will be getting the wrath of female scorn. Well let it come on me, but I still enjoy a pretty lady.

I think that there are many factors that are affecting Americans, not only the Christian ones.

Judging from what I have seen even some non-believers aren't very bright as they claim to be.

I obviously know that there are many bright Americans who are Christian in the U.S.

You know I have an advanced degree and I'm Cathoic. Most Educated and bright people I know are religious. But is it really about that? Even if a person is uneducated or dumb does it really matter? Lots of religious people are intelligent. Being smart or educated isn't a requirement to love the Lord and have faith.

Well.. kinda like Rolaids.. "How do you spell relief?"

Isn't it funny that we attack anyone who blurts anything against Israel or the Jewish faith and label them as anti-Semitic? Why on the other hand do we feel "free" to act in an "anti-Semitic" manner towards other faiths and particularly Muslims?

Last night on Jay Leno's show, he told a joke using the word "Islamists." No one really laughed. No headlines were read this morning objecting to such statements. But consider this: if he had replaced the word with "Jewish" then the whole country would have been up in arms against him [Jay Leno].

Double standards?

And we wonder why the world hates us?

PLEASE READ THE DETAILS TO UNDERSTAND MY POINT.

Everyone talks about "Pascal's Wager" where it is better to believe in God FOR YOUR OWN salvation. That is probably true. But I will tell you this: I would much rather defy God and not be so selfish as to worry about only myself, but about others. I find that religious people do good to get into Heaven. And religious people aren't really all that great towards humanity anyway. I would rather be supportive of human equality (civil rights, gay rights, homosexuality, interracial marriage, gay marriage, etc) than against it like religious people are. I would rather see what science has to offer us in stem-cell research and cures. I would much rather help the homeless and the poor rather than say God made them that way, they are inferior, do not concern yourself with helping them. There would be less wars, pogroms, jihads without religion
That's my wager. If God exists at my death I will tell him my complaints about his actions & inaction.

Christian preachers on TV tell us that the Supreme Being can and DID make an entire universe out of noting, in only seven days.
Yet these same preachers tell us that this omnipotent Creator cannot create a simple paper envelope with money inside. They claim that the Creator wants us to send our money to them, and that the important things the Creator wants done, the Creator cannot possibly accomplish without our money.

I would dearly love to hear from people who send money to the TV preachers, explaining why the Creator lacks the power to provide hairspray and cars to these preachers, without your money.

He threated agents with arrest if they tried to stop 9/11
He wanted 9/11 to go forward so he can pass Patrioiat 1 and 2.
So he can pass the REAL ID ACT
He hides behind the Christian faith , when he really is a memeber of SKULL and BONES 322 and BOHEMIAN GROVE WITH mock child sacfices, where the worship the devil.

He and HITLER have A LOT in common.

Why do people vote for this monster?
