These misogynist (sp?) bozos couldn't get any becoz of their unkempt beards; so they decided to make women the sinners! Burn all abrahamic-inspired texts, and let the world be saved!

God retains the personal right to 2 particular powers that are connected with our life here on earth.
The right and power to take life when it is time, and the power and right to give it when the time, place and situation are right.
He reserves the right to give and to take life.
However, because of His boundless love for all of us, He has SHARED the holy Power of giving life, and the means of doing so, with man.
Because such powers are sacred, He has laid down quite strict guidelines under which those powers are to be used by man.
He has given us a blessing - a very wonderful one - but he has hoped that we would develop the maturity of person and of situation before those powers are rightly used.
Nevertheless, He knew of our weaknesses in such things, and has laid down a merciful plan whereby we might repent and change our ways in life, if we do happen to start off on the wrong foot in life.
His bowels of mercy are always open for us, if we are sincere.

He's not a stick in the mud as you put it, have respect. It was to prevent the very thing that plagues mankind now because they did not listen. Sexually transmitted diseases and now some that kill and have no cures. He created us, He knows what is best for us.

He (God) created sex to be a part of marriage, not for casual relationships (one night stands). Sex within marriage is a beautiful thing. I love and desire my husband. I have no desire for other men. In our society, sex has become far too casual (friends with benefits). God wants us to enjoy our sexual relationships with our life-partners (husbands and wives). Sex is supposed to be a private thing, not splashed all over the TV, movies, video games, books, magazines, internet, etc.

That is difficult to say. He made some really fun equipment to play with but neither He nor his kid are reported to have ever done the nasty, just the Holy Spirit. He did Mary but we never found out much about whether it was good for either one. It's still a mystery that we have to accept by faith.

Well, he is not just the God of Abraham, he is the God of Jesus also.
Jesus has the same stand on the topic.
So, if you are not with them on the matter, I guess you are against them.

Simple answer: venereal disease. The goatherd Hebrews lived side by side with their animals, and all of them carried and spread all sorts of VD, from lice to syphilis.
The Egyptians were sick of the visiting Hebrew workers who spread their "plagues" all around, and so kicked them out of Egypt.
Moses stepped up and tried to proclaim a set of rules from "god" for strict cleanliness in order to purge them of their animal habits and allow them to return to the "promised land" of Egypt.

Sex is one of our strongest urges, so I suppose anyone who wants to control people and make an orderly, obedient, subservient population, will see controlling sex as a desirable exercise of their power.

Because he's not getting any (how could he if he's the only God, after all?) and so he doesn't want any of his followers to get laid if he can't.
