Hey, I'm not making this up. Its a fact. The lower the IQ, the more likely someone is to be religious. Why do you think this is?

I mean christians stole stories from them then took the credit, burned them at the stake........is it fear or ignorance or the belief that you can do whatever you want because some corpse has your back?

I've weighed all the evidence, I really don't know how he can't be. I'm being serious too, I really think just by his mannerisms alone this guy has to be the lord and savior.

Im not endorsing the Davinci code..but I cant see anything wrong with being married to the Lord Jesus if He wanted a human wife. It wouldnt change the fact that only He is God..and only one could die to save us. Im His cousin since Im jewish. Im of the House of David....that doesnt make me special or to be anything but a child of God. Why would it be wrong for Him to have a wife? Hes God...He can do anything He wants. He will marry ALL of us in Heaven. Sorry, ( not really..lol ) but I dont think there would be a thing wrong with it if he chose a human wife.

Moses said we have to have a blood atonement for sins-Leviticus 17 vs 11 some says there was other ways for forgiveness -yet those same people had the priest represent them twice a year for all of israel-on passover and yom kippur

pride keeps them from accepting what Isaiah says as in Chapter 52 vs 13-53vs 12 perfect picture of the two comings of Jesus to be exaulted by first marred more than any man and to lay down his life as a lamb.

some say this is israel-how could israel as in sin die righteous for their own sins-hello!

thanks and for all Jesus offers the new birth as promised in Jeremiah 31 vs 31-and following - a new covenant not like the one i made with Moses, and ye shall be my people and i your God.

Revelation 3 vs 19&20 Behold i stand at your heart door and knock, if you let me in i will become your friend, deliver you from sins and help you.
i prayed-Messiah Jesus come into my heart, forgive my sins and help me do better-be my friend-amen Shalom!

READ THE WHOLE QUESTION!!! THE TITLE IS NOT THE QUESTION!!!
i asked about what organizations prolifers suport that help single mothers. i asked 3 times!!!! i got a total of 18 answers a few people told me of organizations they have heared of. only one said that they suport a organization with donations themselves!!!!
if abortion is so bad why do you not bother fighting the reasons women get abortions????????????
example: single mothers often get abortions to keep themselves and thier would be kids out of poverty or they are in poverty and dont want to make it worse.
i am prochoice. i dont mind if you are prolife if you dont like abortions you better do something about it
NOTE::::
for those who say they made a mistake by having sex in the first place and they have to live with the consequence shouldnt you try to help them not make another one by offering help and suport.?

Brothers, Pastafarians, friends!!! Now is the time, to stand together, to preach our word with proudness behind them...The Gospel of the flying spaghetti monster has been proven using science!!!!! No joke! Every word was true and now it is known as a fact..surely this is the end of all other religions? May you all have no reason for wavering faith now and all be blessed with a beer volcano and a hooker for the FSM has decided, by his great judgement, to take the mystery out of the religion and have every1 know his truth! you can read up on the facts on the news....wooooooooow...the unanswerable quesiton has been answered...woooooooooooow...I can't wait to get to heaven now...Oh wait. Wait...wtf this is sesame street not the news...actually nvm. Todays letter is 'f' just for you who want to know....So. Any1 think big bird has a big butt?

Is it that everything in his life was fulfillment of prophesy, and the man lived a life jumping through the hoops God set for him?

I'm an agnostic, in my world view there is no God, so for me, Jesus is the main charachter of a story, and the New Testement authors read all this stuff from books on the shelf and said this master of ours was a great rabbi and his message is important to get out. They might have believed he was messiah I don't know.

To me I get the message without the religious need to run on my knees and pray for forgiveness, but the secular message I get and try to live.

So in my view the authors wrote those stories based on what was on the shelf, and Jesus if he lived had free will. Cause for me in a universe without a God, we have a natural free will.

Just curious the feelings of the yahoo answers community.

Are their any experiments I can run, or any experimental data that I can look at to prove Creationism is correct? Are there any papers in peer-reviewed journals that would support a creationist point of view?
I've read Darwin’s black box, and much of the information by the discovery institute.... ALL of it has been debunked, and none of it was peer reviewed to begin with.
So please creationist, give me something tangible, because your arguments don't pass the logic test.
I need hard experimental evidence that can be repeatedly tested for accuracy

I just read a disturbing article saying that all who practice Islam are supposed to destroy what they referred to as "unbelievers". I can not believe this to be a fair representation of *all* Islamics, but I do not know enough about the religion to understand. What is true here?

In order for the present human society to maintain an equilibrium necessary for survival, the following criteria must be present; 1)production - work in general needs to be done/product needs to be produced. 2) Procreation - the birth rate needs to keep ticking over. 3) Education - Offspring need to be taught the methods to maintain the previous 2 points.

Religion allows a means to ensure these 3 immensly important criteria are met as there are more people in the world with a comparatively low level of intelligence.

However, religion hinders progress because it's very nature contradicts that which grants humans their means to progress - science.

So, if the development of humans could be seen on a lineal graph with time on the horizantal, accumulated knowledge on the vertical, there would've been a exponential rise not long after the start, then a distinct almost flat line as mass religion came into being.

there is an experiment where a group of subjects are asked to determine which line from a choice of 4 - is the shortest. However all but one of the subjects are in on the experiment and give obviously wrong answers.

The interesting thing that has been discovered is that the test subject will often give an incorrect answer rather than openly disagree with the rest of the group. This happens about 30% of the time.

This seems to indicate that at some deep psychological level, humans need to conform with those aroind them. This could explain why people born in predominantly muslim countries are more likely to become muslims and why those born in predominantly christian countries are more likely to become christian.

Isnt this good evidence against christianity and islam and all other organised religions?
