Im not endorsing the Davinci code..but I cant see anything wrong with being married to the Lord Jesus if He wanted a human wife. It wouldnt change the fact that only He is God..and only one could die to save us. Im His cousin since Im jewish. Im of the House of David....that doesnt make me special or to be anything but a child of God. Why would it be wrong for Him to have a wife? Hes God...He can do anything He wants. He will marry ALL of us in Heaven. Sorry, ( not really..lol ) but I dont think there would be a thing wrong with it if he chose a human wife.

Rev 12:1-5

12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Ok,I've got to answer this. There wouldn't be anything wrong with it,and it is possible that it happened.I mean, since I don't believe in God and all that,it is hard for me to believe that he is the son of God and such, but I do believe he lived.Everyone else married. And no one knows if the Da Vinci Code is totally fiction or not. There is no proof-that we know of-that it happened, and there is no proof it didn't.Until someone can prove otherwise,I think it's kind of cool to be able to entertain new ideas and speculate.Isn't that what the whole point is?To provoke thought?I mean, that's what I thought I read books for,to have something to think about. You just keep on thinking,Annie.Fiction always has fact mixed in with it.How do we know the percentage?Ok,now I'm done.

Get over it. The Davinci Code is a work of fiction written to make money for the author.

What is wrong with the 'wife' of Jesus being the Holy Grail? Answer: Because it is not.

If you believe as the Gospel of St. John tells us, that Jesus and God are the same, then by Jesus having married and having children, we would have a bunch of demigods running around even today.

I don't believe in demigods, only in One True God revealed in Three Divine Persons. Period.

In Rev 21:9...and an angel said..."Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God..."

I have a feeling that God's Wife is a lot more than we could ever imagine Her to be. Of course, we are a part of Her, and it will be revealed when it is time. I'm looking forward to it, how bout you!!??

The Divinci Code is a fictional book, but if it was true, I'd have no problem with it. It was actually weird for a jewish man of His time not to marry, but it makes sense in the long run, considering He'd be leaving behind a wife and kids with no father. The thing is, its not true so it really doens't make any difference.

His ways are higher than our ways he didn't want or need a wife
And DaVinci was an atheist he didn't uderstand our doctrine

By tha way the bride mentioned in Revalation, is not actually a woman, it is symbolic of the Church(the people of God).

The wedding will be held hen Jesus comes back and takes us(the believers) to heaven

The Word says that there will not be marriage in Heaven, and that is where Jesus is, so why would He even want to be married. I just think you are arguing a mute point...

Jesus wouldn't want a human wife. He's perfect. He's God...not a human. I don't believe God would "marry"...who would be "perfect" enough to be his wife? God loves men and women. He made us...that's why we don't understand. He doesn't love the way we love.

There is nothing wrong with it, in fact, for me, it makes the whole story a lot more credible.

It troubles the christian theology established after his death. They assert that the church is the "bride of Christ". If he had a real one, it would trash their theology.

I wouldnt see anything wrong with it, but most Catholics have issues with sex even within a marriage, thats why they claim Mary stayed a virgin her whole life even though the Bible says otherwise.
