I am pro-choice and I volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center. I believe that part of having a choice is having the choice not to get an abortion. Unfortunately, I think for many women that seems like, or is, the only option because they aren't getting the resources they need from so-called "pro-life" people. Personally, I think a lot of being pro-life is political, because if people were really pro-life they would bother to do something about it on the humanitarian level.

The Bible tells us that God knew us before we were born. (Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart") That means we are people BEFORE coming out of the womb. Who are we to take away the human life (with a soul) that God has created?!? freedom of Choice? What about the choice of the baby you're killing? Don't they get to decide whether they want the chance to live? If you're not ready for a baby, there is a choice that doesn't involve killing- adoption. Mother Teresa, before dying, faced Bill Clinton when he passed a bill on abortion and said "Please don't kill the child. I want the child. Please give me the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted, and to give that child to a married couple who will love the child, and be loved by the child. From our children's home in Calcutta alone, we have saved over 3,000 children from abortions. These children have brought such love and joy to their adopting parents, and have grown up so full of love and joy!
Before I get bashed about "how many children have you taken in?"... I am a foster parent, have had 3 in our home since we started this year, and would gladly adopt any that didn't have a parent willing to take good care of them.
I also have run fundraisers to support a home for young mothers that have no place to go called "Esther House"... run by "Time Out Ministries" that gives new/ soon-to-be young mothers that have no place to live a place to stay for a year (sometimes more, sometimes less)- during which they are helped in finding jobs, help with caring for their babies, learning about parenthood, and finally finding a place of their own that they can afford.
Month One:
Mommy
I am only 8 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
Every time I hear it
I wave my arms and legs.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.
Month Two
Mommy today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.
Month Three
You know what Mommy
I'm a boy!!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can't hear me.
Month Four
Mommy my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.
Month Five
You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what's abortion?
Month Six
I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!
Month Seven
Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?
Every Abortion Is Just . . .
One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.

I totally agree with you, other than the fact that I'm pro-life. But pro-life people don't make nearly as much of an effort as we should. Now, why in the world would we kill off children because they might end up poor? At least, they have a chance to live a life, and a chance to better their life. Just because they are born poor doesn't mean they will stay poor. Men and women that have changed the course of religion, the course of freedom, the course of the world were born poor. What if their mothers had wanted abortions?

Um, well I don't quite understand your whole question.
#1. I hate abortion. It's murder.
#2. Sheepfold support single mothers.
I don't comprehend your "NOTE::::".
I think if women make the "mistake" (its a big deal and a big mistake outside of marriage) of having sex and end up having a baby, God will take care of the mother, the baby, and that whole situation! God didn't give you the baby for no good reason! The "embryo", is a human, a living creation, deserves the right to live just as much as the mother. Women wouldn't want to have an abortion if they didn't have sex (outside of marriage).

Do you have a guilty conscience? Have you impregnated a few woman that are about to give birth and totally ruin your life with multiple child support payments that you will not be able to make? Is that the reason that you are pro-choice, so that you can council the women that you have knocked up to get an abortion in order that you can maintain your selfish lifestyle?

I am prolife. I totally understand where you are coming from....I have thought about it from time to time, but it seems impossible to help, the only way I know how to help is by offering my help whenever i get the chance, and by donating money when i have an opportunity to. i don't condemn people who have had to make the choice to have an abortion, i am positive(if they are honest about it) they punish themselves enough....

I am anti abortion and pro life but I am not a fundamentalist. Sometimes people don't think and they don't want to face consequences later. Sometimes a woman is raped and she doesn't' want a baby.
What about the woman behavior after an abortion?
Should a woman after an abortion get another one, and another one.
I think abortion should be seen from different angles. Every case is different and we can't generalize.

There are literally thousands of pregnancy care centers in the United States providing free help to both unwed and married mothers. You can find a directory of them here:
http://www.optionline.org/advantage.asp
These centers provide referrals for financial, medical, legal, and housing assistance; free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds; free maternity and baby supplies; pregnancy, parenting, and adoption information; and counseling and emotional support. All of these centers are staffed and supported by pro-lifers, not by "pro-choicers."
I personally know pro-lifers who have taken out their wallets outside abortion facilites and given money to women who changed their minds and decided to let their babies live. (The abortion facilities, of course, refused to refund the women's deposits.)
All that being said, murder is never justified. If you saw a man beating his infant son to death on street, would you think, "Well, that's his choice. After all, they might be living in poverty!"
If you doubt abortion is murder, take a look at:

I agree, but get one term straight--- We are all pro life. And, I also agree, that if someone is trying to foist a pregnancy on another women that person should be there with a sign saying 'I will raise your crack baby, I will raise the kid that you have no idea who fathered, I will raise that kid you know carries Down's Syndrome" or whatever. Anti-abortionists are a pushy bunch -- usually christian fanatics who insist upon foisting their beliefs on anyone who will listen.... and we have a nut like that in the white house now.......what I wish to do with my body, and what another woman wishes do do with hers is her own business, thank you very much. It is only in this country that abortion is controversial.... this problem does not exist outside the realm of the Christian Taliban.

Yes they are and yes the choice they made was to have sex in the first place don't murder the baby. Nobody ever said that the baby has to grow up in poverty- ever heard of Adoption? There are plenty of good couples who can't have babies and you love to raise the one you want to Murder.
