The non believers that call you clones are more then likely immature children. Religion is a choice, an opinion and any mature adult will know that an opinion in not right or wrong so chosing to believe or not believe doesnt make you a better person!
I am an atheist and I dont have a problem with christians, I only get pi$sed off when they try to save me after I have said I dont want to be.. Just like you get annoyed when atheists try to convince you god doesnt exist!
People need to remember that religion is an opinion.. choice.. There is no right or wrong answer!
As for the ppl that call you clones.. ignore them.. just as I ignore christians who tell me Im worthless and will amount to nothing because I dont believe..

The feeling of "cloned" probably comes from the lack of originality of thought that occurs. You have become a member of an organization by accepting a common belief. The belief is your ticket to membership. Your research was really what group to belong to.
That is OK, do what you want. But most "believers" don't seem to be aware of what belief really is. If you are going to be a member of some group based on belief, you should be aware that some depth of thought is always appreciated by non-believers and that simply parroting some teaching is a real turn-off because it shows how little is happening in your mind.

I see you caught my clone statement.
Just looking at the basics of what I see from you I see someone who has spent most of their life being insecure. You've always needed to feel like there was something watching over you just so that you can feel safe. Now that you have children you're worried about their futures and want to believe that someone is watching over them.
Belief means nothing at all in this world. I can believe that the great Santa will come to my house and shower me with gifts. But it doesn't make it any more true or less true that I believe in it, so you have to go with what you know in life. We should always seek truth, but be vigilant about it also. You can't take easy answers like Christianity and never doubt whether it is true or not. Christianity exists because it feeds off peoples emotions. And when you're emotional your not in your best thinking state. You wont listen because no one ever does when I say. "Don't try to find just an answer. Try to find truth."
Truth, when seen, is undeniable. Don't give up the search by taking easy answers.

I agree, some people choose to be Christians even though they were not raised in a Christian culture that molded them to follow the cultural traditions. The same is true of everyone, believer or not; culture and society mold us. But some people step out of the mold, march to a different drummer because their history of conditioning and reinforcement were different.

Have you researched ONLY Christianity from the confines of only the Bible? Or, have you researched a dozen religions? Have you researched Christianity from non-Christian sources, coming to know how non-Christians experience Christianity? Or, do you accept soley to avoid eternal damnation?

Atheists(on this site) can't seem to see past a person's religion to realize that God created each of us with unique gifts and talents.
Of course I grant them, there are Christians on this site who sound like they have no passion for what they are saying. Like they memorized something in grade school and didn't understand or like it.

While it is true that some Christians have questioned and researched their faith, the vast majority remain believers because they were brought up Christian.
