That is IMPOSSIBLE, only God is perfect.
We sin everyday, but in some religions they have to bow, neal for forgivness as a Lutheran we belive that He forgives us everyday, anytime, and we dont need to bow or neal.
Try harder to break your habbits, its more than likey IMPOSSIBLE to NOT sin, God is the perfect one.
God Bless.

You don't say what sort of sin you are having a problem with.
If it is something like an addiction, then speak with a doctor if need be and try a medication if that would be appropriate.
If it is a behavior of some sort, perhaps you should look around and see what in your life may be causing you temptation. As an extreme example, are you hanging around bars and trying to live a Godly life? It won't work.
Sometimes just a change of scenery or a supportive friend will help when you combine it with lots of prayer. Pray that God will help you to avoid the temptation to do whatever you are doing and each day that goes by, acknowledge His blessing, thank Him for taking care of you and ask him to help you continue with your success. If you slip, acknowledge that as well and ask him to help you do better next time.
You can never be sin free in this life. The fact that you are feeling guilt over your sin is evidence of the Holy Spirit working in you.
Good Luck and God Bless

Let me start with a wise crack and answer your question more seriously. Death allows the person to stop sinning suddenly.
You werent talking about this though. You wanted to know about continual sin. Are you sorry for it? Does it involve the mouth and saying things? Read James 3 about the tongue. The tongue gets many into sinning and God has to help you with that. If you ask God for the power to improve in this area, then it will help. If a person says he has no sin, 1John 3 says that he is a liar. You won't honestly get to that level by natural means!
Another thing that you need to be aware of is that God helps you see the BIG sins first and the smaller ones later. The people who are really searching for God are sensitive to the smaller things that do not please God and they spend more time praying as a result.

Daniel 4:27
"So, my king, I hope you will accept my advice. Stop being sinful. Do what is right. Give up your evil practices. Show kindness to those who are being treated badly. Then perhaps things will continue to go well with you1
Corinthians 15:34 You should come back to your senses and stop sinning. Some of you don't know anything about God. I say this to make you ashamed
Colossians 3:5 (Whole Chapter)
So put to death anything that belongs to your earthly nature. Get rid of your sexual sins and unclean acts. Don't let your feelings get out of control. Remove from your life all evil longings. Stop always wanting more and more. You might as well be worshiping statues of gods
2 Peter 2:14 (Whole Chapter)
They stare at women who are not their wives. They want to have sex with them. They never stop sinning. They trap those who are not firm in their faith. They have mastered the art of getting what they want. God has placed them under his curse.
i hope these passages will help.

When we sin we are to repent, which means to ask for forgiveness, feel remorse and not do it again. When you continue to do the same thing, you obviously don't try hard enough and are not worthy of forgiveness. But, the Bible says that God will forgive when you repent.
You stop sinning by understanding you have will power, you use it. Simple as that. Grow up, be more mature and stop acting like a child that cannot control themselves. That's basically it. You also want to pray and ask God to assist you in your quest.

The weird thing about sin is that it's not only intentional - that is, it's something we have to will to do... but that it's also unintentional - which is to say we can sin without even knowing it... How do you confess to God about that, right...?
Well, God knows ALL about you anyway, so you just need to confess and ask for forgiveness... It's one of the countless ways we depend upon Him... We still have our evil nature after we get saved and it very often gets in the way... Read Romans chapters 7 & 8...
Every Christian wants to be sinless and we will be like Him (1st John 3:2), but not yet... not yet...

Good for you. First, understand what is a sin and what is not. How? Know the Word of God. You cannot follow the rules unless you know them.
Second, when you know that something you are doing is a sin, ask God to help you stop doing it. Focus on those things you are doing repeatedly which you know to be sinful and be conscious of the temptations which lead you to those sins. If being in certain situations lead you to those sins, make a conscious effort to stay out of those situations. If you cannot avoid the situations (IE, being in school, etc) then consciously evaluate your behavior while you are in those situations and be aware of your behavior. Be willing to congratulate, and even reward, yourself when you have resisted temptation and avoided sinning.
When you have sinned, and we all do, ask for forgiveness. When praying to God, name your sins, those ones you are aware of, and ask for forgiveness for those specifically. Also ask for forgiveness for those sins that you are not aware of consciously.
Sin is part of the fallen nature of man, but we can reduce our sins through effort, self control and self awareness (don't read any New-Age thinking into that statement). What I mean is that we need to be aware of what we are doing and know what is right and what is wrong.

God forgiveness is endless if we truly desire it. It is not impossible to stop the sinning, just try it for one minute, then another, then another and all those minutes will add up. Also God gives us grace and that grace is a gift of love and support to help us to stay strong. You are heading in the right direction, and know you will probably stumble and fall many times, but never stay down...get up, ask for forgiveness and keep on going. Never look back with guilt and regret...look ahead with hope and faith.

the basis of forgiveness is (SALAH-)PRAYER AND REPENTENCE. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY OF FORGIVENESS. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY, NO SACRIFISING ANIMALS OR MEN. (muslims sacrifise the ram /lamb/camel during Bakrid becoz it is a sincere attempt to remember the sacrifise Abraham-pbuh made when Allah took him to test.)
and pray that God gives u strength to carry on and not commit the mistakes u made in the past. a prayer true and sincere is always heard by God.
but prayers alone will not help. try keeping urself busy as much as possible with activities, be it family /freind's ytime or community service. Read ur Holy book or may be u could have some quality time with ur family at dinners or picnics. do it for a few days and u will forget all entire aspect of sinning itself.
i will have a ray for u in my prayers.
may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon us and may He guide us in the right path. Peace be to all.

It depends on what your ideas of what sin are.The way people interprut the 10 commandments really deplete us of our humanity. They seem hard to follow in one that hates but easy to follow after one realizes that the first law "Have no other Gods before me" is not persecuting but creates in us a sense that God understands us as humans. That He only wants us not to wander off the path of Life into trouble without a helper,a Saviour to forgive when we do so we won't become miserable and alone. When we acknowledge that we were created by a Creator we put restrictions on what sin would hurt Him which is only sin that would hurt other humans. The first law is not so hard to follow since most right-minded people would'nt murder or steal or lie to the point of intentional hurt.Really, their is no need to do these things after you realize God loves us unconditionately.
Sometimes sin regulates itself by the fact of how others around you react to it,some find things more hurtful than other people and others have a greater tolerance for sins purposes or manifestations.Sinful natures weighs heavier on different people for different reasons or ages or upbringings so to stop sinning is to stop hurting others by sinful presences,to adjust intentions or flow with circumstances. We all have sinful thoughts but after talking straight up with our God they begin to disappear and what is replaced instead is compassionate knowledge that sin is a choice and can be regulated intelligently.Sinful human nature is forgiven.

If you are making a true effort to stop sinning then it's good, and you will eventually be free from your sins. He will still forgive you.
Through Jesus, you can become perfect in some things, and eventually those things will grow until you are perfect at all things, but don't expect that to happen anytime soon.
