Having read the books, I could not find a single instance of christians being told to exercise -any- power over others.

Could that be why the Fundamentalists insist on using the OT to justify their efforts to exercise power over others? Wouldn't it make sense for them to insist the whole bible is the literal truth because they can't find any way to exercise power in the NT, so they have to justify using the OT?

Even if we were to allow the necessity of free will for happiness, God could have created humans with free will who did not have the ability to choose evil, but to choose between several good options.

God supposedly has free will, and yet he does not make imperfect decisions. If humans are miniature images of God, our decisions should likewise be perfect. Also, the occupants of heaven, who presumably must have freewill to be happy, will never use that freewill to make imperfect decisions. Why would the originally perfect humans do differently?

Everything that God wants you to know is there. Go get a Bible and stop asking uneducated questions.

If that is so can he smell more than a hobo? And can he fart louder than me? If he can that means i can fart less loud, so i can do something he cant, doesnt that make him not perfect? the concpet of perfection means u can do anything, but that idea is imposible by any type of racional thinking.

This is going to sound rediculous, especially coming from me, but I seriously would like to know the church's official stance on this.

Say a woman is married, and her husband dies, then she later gets remarried. Assuming that all three of them lived good lives in the name of Jesus, and go to heaven, what is the marital relationship like in heaven? Does it become a polyandrous marriage, or is one husband considered "divorced", or is the whole deal off?

Saudi Arabia is exporting 8 million barrels of OIL everyday to USA at $67/Barrel.

Lets make some calculation:

8,000,000 * 67 = 536,000,000/day

536,000,000 * 365 = 195,640,000,000

Whoa that makes up more than 195 BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR! (Just from USA, not to forget it also exports oil to Japan and many other countires)

and the SAUDI POPULATION IS 25 Million (US POPULATION IS 290 Million)

What do you think? Will saudi arabia be one of the worlds richest countries if it kept on exporting oil for next 200 years? It also has GOLD hidden in the mountains of MAKKAH worth TRILLIONS!
Do saudi arabia have any chance of becoming world power if it becomes MODERATE (and yes they have stopped veiling their faces and women will get right to vote and drive, cinemas are being built) SO what do you think 200 years, saudi arabia world's super power?+its well known that arabs are smartest people on this earth!

And chickensh+ts? There is no such thing as the New Age.
It is GOD opening our minds to prepare us for what lies ahead.

"Knowledge will be increased."
"Nothing secret or hidden, not revealed and made known."
"The Holy Spirit poured out on all flesh. Prophesy, visions, and
dreams."

But the knowledge can be used for good or ill. It's on YOU.,

Questions about who made God and what did God do before he created us and all kinds of other questions that there are no answers for simply because God did not intend fo us to know all of that until we reach heaven. He knew that our pea sized brains could not understand such stuff. What God wants people to focus on and understand is their need for salvation and what God did so that they could be saved and spend eternity with him in heaven.

You see, I have this magic squirrel at home.
A magic blue squirrel that doesn't walk but floats and spits out diamonds on the hour, every hour, do you believe me?

No, of course not, only a complete moron would.

You would, as any reasonable person would, want to see some proof. And even my producing a diamond wouldn't be adequate proof would it? You'd want to see the Squirrel wouldn't you? And not only would you insist on seeing him, you'd want to inspect for wires and other such tricks that made him "float". You'd probably also want to check his hair to see if the blue color was just paint or a dye.
All of these things would be necessarry in order to convince yourself that this isn't a hoax.
So that's what we're asking of you, since the burden of proof rests upon the person stating the "fact" of existence.
Now, we all know this squirrel does not, in fact exist, but not all of us know that god does not, in fact, exist.
Why is that? Ignorance? Lack of education? Brainwashing?

If the 14th and 15th amendments can prevent a person for running for office on a platform of racism, why can't the separation of church and state prevent what is happening now? I don't think we are safe from democracy...

For the sake of argument, let us suppose that this perfect God did create the universe. Humans were the crown of his creation, since they were created in God's image and have the ability to make decisions. However, these humans spoiled the original perfection by choosing to disobey God.

What? If something is perfect, nothing imperfect can come from it. Someone once said that bad fruit cannot come from a good tree, and yet this "perfect" God created a "perfect" universe which was rendered imperfect by the "perfect" humans. The ultimate source of imperfection is God. What is perfect cannot become imperfect, so humans must have been created imperfect. What is perfect cannot create anything imperfect, so God must be imperfect to have created these imperfect humans. A perfect God who creates imperfect humans is impossible.

If God was all that existed back then, what disturbed the eternal equilibrium and compelled him to create? Was he bored? Was he lonely? God is supposed to be perfect. If something is perfect, it is complete--it needs nothing else. We humans engage in activities because we are pursuing that elusive perfection, because there is disequilibrium caused by a difference between what we are and what we want to be. If God is perfect, there can be no disequilibrium. There is nothing he needs, nothing he desires, and nothing he must or will do. A God who is perfect does nothing except exist. A perfect creator God is impossible.

Before you say people do: How can people in the material world physically create a spiritual realm?
Isn't the only creator God?, especially on such a grand spiritual scale.........
If most people are going to hell like it says in the bible, God must have always known this, so what's the point? so when did he create hell, then or in the future on judgement day?

Does anyone from the Dallas area remember him? I heard that they finally tore Word of Faith down. Did you know he has started a new church in Florida? Is this guy following me around or what? At the top of his ministry he was making over 80 million dollars a year. Wow! The Jesus business must be pretty good.

ever notice, how most religions have special observances that their followers must obey? Some examples The Sacrament, Baptism, Circumcisions, special head wear, wearing special clothing, carrying special items etc. This is all promulgated to make one feel apart or special. I have a special relationship with God because I ______________ fill in the blank. The first step of brain washing is to get you to think you are special in some way. If I can get you to mutilate your children in the name of God, (by circumcision) I can get you to do just about anything in the name of God. This technique is also used by governments and political organizations all over the planet. The Nazis and Communists used this technique very effectively during WWII era. Is it possible that a special group has you in its clutches?

What is this kind of God all about? Likes animal sacrifice and sprinkling of blood..., sent himself/son down to kill himself/son as a human sacrifice although, we are all born into sin, still, so Satan always has the better advantage of winning your soul, then they duke it out in some soul winning game seemingly, he lets horrifying atrocities happen constantly with countless prayers unaswered and then it's always 'his will' no matter what, then in the end, most of the people he knew were to be created burn in his created hell anyway........what kind of God is this anyway?

I personally view myself as very open minded to all ideas. I consider everything I have read about a certain subject and the proofs I seen and make a judgement from there. And even then I am still willing the question these judgements.

That is how I eventually converted to Isalm, my faith, what I believe to be the truth faith. But, does that make me closed minded?
