Dear classychris,
There are many people that say "I Love God" or "I Love Jesus!" And I do not judge them but the Lord says in John 14:15 = "If you love me keep my commandments." So we see that to truly love God (Jesus Christ), one must keep His commandments. The commandments of God encompass the whole Bible. If you read Psalms 119 the Lord uses severaly synonyms for His commandments. They include: law, testimonies, ordinances, word, commandments, etc, We also find that God tells us how we can know if we are saved or born again (a child of God). The Bible says in 1 John 2:3, 4 "Herein we do know that we know him if we keep his commandments, He that sayeth I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar amd tje truth is not in him." The term "know" in this verse means intimacy, as a husband with his wife. The true believers (saved) are the bride of Christ.
You may be asking well how can anyone keep all the commandments of God? Good question! We absolutely cannot!! So how does one become saved? The Bible tells us that the Lord must do ALL the work! All our righteousness is as filthy rags. In fact we cannot do anything that pleases God unless we are saved. The Bible clearly tells us that God must choose us, if we are to be saved, pay for all our sins, and then do a miracle in us to give us a new soul. The Bible tells us that "No man can come to me except the Father, which hath sent me, draw him." The term "draw" has the meaning of capturing like fish in a net. That is because unsaved man is in complete rebellion to God.
After we are saved though our greatest joy is in being obedient to the Lord and doing His will. So when you pray, if you are saved, you will say "Lord your will be done." Remember God (Jesus) is omniscient and know everything! Sometimes what we ask for is not good for us or others.

I love Jehovah God, the Father, the Holy Spirit, the Almighty, and He always answers my prayers, through Jesus.
The answer is usually yes, no, or Iater. Many people think that when they do not get what they want , that God does not answer their prayers...but the answer is usually, no or later. Of course allot of subjects do not fit in these categories.

Classy Chris,God does anwer prayer, perhaps you pray your will Into someones life or desire your will In a situation and Impose On another persons will,God does not honor those type of prayer.
Also,some prayer takes time
You decide,If you are praying the will Of God I pray that God lifts you up right now and strengthens you,If not I pray that first you know the Lord Jesus Christ and his love for you and that you bask In his pressance right now amen

i've wondered that before, but then i look at some of the things that have been going on in my life lately, and realize that God is answering my prayers...he's just being subtle about it. i've thought that God had abandoned me so many times, but just remember that no matter what happens, and how bad it is, it all happens for the Greater Good. eventually it all works out. just hang in there.

Yes I love God with all my heart. I do admit that i have a hard time putting him first though, but that is something that all Christians struggle with.
You must be mistaken my friend...God always answers our prayers. Sometimes we're just to proud to hear him, or sometimes we don't get the answer we want or sometimes God just says to wait. It teaches us to have faith and trust, because God promises to answer all of our prayers.
God Bless You!

Yes, I love God. No I do not wonder about unanswered prayers. Prayers that are unanswered are sometimes for our own good.
