Jesus covered this exact question:
Luk 20:27 Then came to [him] certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
Luk 20:28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
Luk 20:29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
Luk 20:30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
Luk 20:31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
Luk 20:32 Last of all the woman died also.
Luk 20:33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
Luk 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Luk 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

I would reccomend reading Mark 12. Some Sadducees asked Jesus the same thing, except the roles were reversed. It involved a woman that married a man, but when he died she became the wife of the next younger brother as was the tradition of the times. Eventually she had married all seven brothers. In the ressurection there is neither husband nor wife. There is no need for marriage when we exist in a state of perfect love for everyone, and there is no need for procreation. The love will have exceeded our understanding so much that even the earthly physical and emotional pleasure of sex with your spouse will be nothing compared to the existence we will be living in.

If you are talking about a Christian marriage, lifestyle, and heaven then none of them are married. If you read in your Bible you can find that in heaven there is no marriage. Some of the passages that show this are Luke 20, Mark 12, and Matthew 22. You don't need to read all of them because they are all the same story, even being said in almost the same words. It is the story of the seven brothers who have when the previous brother died married the widow of that brother. The widow of the first brother ends up being married to each of the brothers. Which one is she married to in heaven? God says none of them. "For in resurrection (heaven) they neither marry nor are given in marriage." Hope this helps you.

If a lady married interior the hot and eternal Covenant of Marriage loses her husband she must have the right to re-marry for time to a guy who's likewise residing this covenant. If she loses her husband to adultery, D&C 132:40 4 particularly instructions she take delivery of to a special guy interior the covenant-- no matter if it ability plural marriage. If she marries a guy outdoors the covenant she won't be able to stay the covenant, because the covenant calls for her to stay less than the authorities of her husband as long as he's residing less than the authorities of the Lord. those who say they are going to stay via the regulation of the Gospel as contained interior the Doctrine and Covenants, and then say they're going to by no ability stay plural marriage except the U. S. authorities shall we them-- they are contradicting themselves. For one element, interior the case of a widow the U. S. authorities at present might want to be happy for her to marry in plural marriage so she might want to be a lot less of a welfare situation to them. they don't flow after all and sundry in plural marriage at present except they are forcing females into marriages against their will, extraordinarily underage females. The LDS church isn't residing this covenant at present. study the 2d e book of Commandments.
