I come here to enlighten all of you. I ask you... why do you believe in the Bible or the Quran? They have been proved wrong my modern science. They are the writings of a mad man. Wouldn't you rather believe in Oprah? Her magazines put together are far lengthier than the Bible, and they have color pictures. They teach you real life wisdom and practical skills.

To discover more about Oprah, go see www.oprahwinfrey.com.

Oprah is the Goddess of the world. She our life giving mother. She was the first human woman. Her DNA can be found in all of us.

Just curious. And too lazy to look it up for myself. It's fun to have different opinions anyway.

PS-If you're not either and have no knowledge on the subject and just want to post something to post something or be offensive, you will be reported.

First of, I AM an atheist for all you Christians out there, but the following question I'm going to ask is NOT to make fun of Christians in any way. I'm just really curious:
Why DO you belive in the Bible? It's just...a book. It could have been written by ANYONE. There is no evidence or even a clue that indicates God himself wrote it.
Please don't say something like "I pray to God that you will understand someday" or something like that, because I don't belive in God.
I'm looking for an answer that actually makes sense and makes me think, not the "God exists. You just have to belive" stuff.
Again, I'm just curious. I'm not here to make fun of any Christians, because my grandma is Christian herself and I respect and love her very much.

How can all the christian now become the anti-christ? Is there any logical reason why all christian now become anti christ? Did christian change anything in the bible to misconcept the real religion?

Okay, let's say that a friend wanted to do something that you knew was dangerous. And that simply continuing to do what he was doing would kill him. Let's say you knew that if he did not stop doign this, he would definitely die. But your friend feels that the alternative is stupid, imaginary, and a waste of time. And you even know that any expert opinion would be rendered as irrelevant by your friend. But you are convinced that if he continues on this path, he will die.

Should you keep silent? Or do you have a responsibility to allow him to continue on his path. Even though this path will definitely kill him?

What would you do? Do you have a moral obligation to stop him?

Does religion need to be part of our lives? Can we point out good things that happened because of religion? (Please don’t say moral). Does any one believe that God/the Creator sent his ‘son’ Jesus to earth or truly ‘talked’ to Mohamed. Does any one understand why God needs to hide and keep on sending messengers and sons?

Theologians
John Bowden (once manager of the Student Christian Movement Press) said in 1993, "[There] are virtually no new substantial and intellectually attractive statements of traditional Christian belief which counter successfully the now well-established criticisms of it."

Richard Holloway(British former churchman) wrote in 2000, “God no longer seems to provide the kind of cohesion we need, because the systems that claimed divine authorization made some claims that we have subsequently repudiated for good reason."

I have been having premarital sex on and off with the father of my 1 yr old. It is against my beliefs and I KNOW it isnt helping my relationship with God...but I just cant help it. "The heart is willing but the flesh is weak" certainly applies in my case. I feel guilty afterwards and I ask God to forgive me but I know it cant continue like this. I need prayers and guidance. Any advice on how to stay strong?
