gumby- I don't know why LDS has such a bad rap, all the ones I've met are cool people, I like to talk with the missionaries, and I'm not anywhere near being LDS

My fellow agnostics seem to experience the same as I do.

People often fear what they don't understand.

Yup. I'm LDS and I've had lots of people insult my religion. I even had a friend in middle school who, once she found out I was LDS, refused to talk to me anymore. And in highschool this idiot girl kept asking me how many wives my dad has. (He only has one, we don't practice polygamy.)

Sure, but the most interesting time was 5 years before I joined the LDS church. I was literally a hundred miles from civilization in the middle of the Mojave Desert at Mitchell Caverns. After finishing a tour, I had a conversation that began "You're not a Mormon are you?" I wasn't. so I got a half hour of bashing Joseph Smith. I was lucky that this guy had brought up such weak half-truths that I could see through him. Since he was a college teacher, I suppose he's probably poisoned quite a few people.

Yes, I have been. Surprisingly, more often on the Internet than in person, even though I wear my pentacle openly in public. Maybe it's just the cloak of anonymity that makes some people so "brave". Or it could also be that seeing this everyday average 35 year old admin assistant goes against what they have been taught a witch "should be" that they're too surprised to say anything.
Path: Pagan with strong Wiccan influence.

Yes, I have and usually it's by people in the street who do not know me. People who know me, rather engage in open discussions with me and we would try to understand the ways in which our beliefs are similar and different.
I am a Muslim and I wear hijab. It is an open testament to what I believe. I have no problem with that. After September 11th 2001, people have had choice words to say about Muslims. It does not matter to me what people say or think. I choose to believe that there is Only One God and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of God ... God willing, no one's opinion will change that :-) Your beliefs are your choice and we should respect that.

Oh yea - was fired from a job for being a witch.
I don't know if on here it would be considered being attacked - I feel a lot are posers and then with hiding behind the screen of the Internet people tend to say things they wouldn't in person.

Every day on Yahoo answers I see someone attacking me - I'm agnostic, and I'm a good person. Not because I'm afraid of hell, but just because I could never be a bad person and purposefully hurt people. Yet other people want to judge me and tell me I'm going to hell. Even withing christianity, people don't realize it, but they are telling each other that they are going to hell, because they have different Christian beliefs - i saw one guy on here that said that anyone who has oral sex is going to hell. On the other hand, I saw a girl ask a question of "non-christians", hence indicating she's christian, that was "non-christians, who do you talk to when you are getting great oral?" indicating that she has oral sex. Anyway.....whatever.

I get attacked all the time on the web. In person people are more polite.
I try not to be offensive on my beliefs, but I feel that my beliefs are important.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and yes, i have been attacked for my faith. There are moments, especially peer pressure (at school) where i just want to shut up and not tell anyone about my religion. But, i have put my faith and trust in Jehovah and i know He will not forsake me.
