It doesn't bother me when someone is deeply into their religion, but when they try to force it on me, it really bothers me. And it's not just the Christians trying to tell me I need to accept Jesus, it's also the athiests saying that God doesn't exist and that all Christians are morons. And it's the pagans telling me that thier path is the right one, I should be able to see that because I'm not blinded by Christianity. Christians have the problem sometimes of thinking that every has to be saved and saved in the exact way they believe. Pagans have the problem of feeling persecuted all the time and hoping that someone will join their cause. They also have the problem where they felt smothered by Christianity, so they find all sorts of reasons to hate it and tell everyone they come across how they're pagan and why it's better than Christianity. I think it's ridiculous. Unless you're religion is causing you harm, I don't care what you are. I might ask about it if you do something I don't get, but I don't need to be saved. I don't need to save you either. And overbearing arrogance doesn't save anyone.

It's usually my oldest sister trying to shove her religion down my throat, and I hate it indeed. She cannot have a civilized discussion about it...but she cannot discuss anything in a civil and civilized manner. I studied Philosophy and Bible History in college. She is a high school dropout and attends churches filled with ignorant people. She even tries to corect my grammar, so you know she will act as if she knows more than I do about religion. If she says she'll pray for Me, I feel like saying something I won't print here.

yeah im rigth there with you man, i like to hear about peoples beleifs but not when they are trying to shove them down my throat, seems to me like that drives more people away from a religion by doing that, i think the christian church is actually giving god a bad name and causing less and less people to want to beleive, there are more atheists now then there has ever been in all the history of man, the only thing thats changed?.....the advent of christianity and its hypocritical judgemental followers, i think there is a god without a doubt but i dont follow any organised religion, i have a personal relationship with my creator and im pretty sure hes fine with it or i would feel as if i was doing something wrong.

Yeah when they do that circle talk and try to back you up into a corner so you have to agree with them or look like and feel like a major jerk.
It is so frustrating when someone in power can shove the rest of us who do not think exactly like they do into acting as if we do. I mean with all the different religions in practice today and the clelebrity additon of building their own churches because they are rich enough to do it.
This is getting worse all the time, from politics, to religion. and all points inbetween. The money and power are fighting over who gets to keep the sheep. you and me.

I like being choked sometimes, but not like that. Usually just a arm around the neck, or a hand.

Yes indeed, especially "organized religion", "gay pride", politics, seat belts, anti-smoking legislation, the list goes on and on. What ever happened to being different for you, not so you could show off how different you are?
