The purpose of religion is to develop love for God/be compassionate to all living entities & develop world peace. Any real God conscience person will always become very very happy when someone becomes attracted to the Supreme. There is no envy or bitterness involved, because a person who possesses true devotion to God understands that through their chosen process, individual suffering is being reduced to the degree of spiritual advancement made.

It must be understood that some times God comes himself to the material world to attract us back to the world of light, other times he sends his representative, but the message is the same, the representative says "love my father" and the father says "love me", therefore due to time and circumstance there may be different traditions, but all preach the same message, only when they become adulterated are there difficulties, you can judge a tree by its fruits.

I have no use for religions including my own. The priests and preachers are only out to capitalize on ones vulnerability to advance their worldly needs.

I'm interested in them. I study other religions and their history which I find fascinating. This enhances my understanding of my own religion actually and vice versa.

I have a lot of respect for people of other faiths.

For instance, the vast majority of Muslims I have met (and I have met many) are extremely peaceful and caring people. Not at all terroriists, but terribly misunderstood.

I also have met many Hindus, who are very peaceful as well. They are wonderful people who I count as friends.

I can respect anyone who doesn't try to tear down my faith. I don't agree with their beliefs, but I respect their integrity.

as long as it thought about good manner and morality then they're good. Its just some irresponsible people who mislead people that make some religion seems bad to others who don't know the religion really good.

All religions are of same potency and purpose to its followers.
No one should be fanatically fundamental on the priciples, whereby the same gets irritated to other as a social menance!

The ones I've tried before seem silly, unsophisticated, and escapist. Not to mention not very fulfilling.

The others just seem interesting and I haven't taken the time to learn enough about them yet. However, I believe I have found my path.

I don't like organized religion at all. It's bad for society, scientific progress, and individual emotional strength.
