why then is God not so much more complex that we are in even greater need to posit a Creator who created God?

Repeat ad infinitum.

If there is a Creator for the Creator for the ... Creator who created God, why worship God rather than the creators who made it possible for God to exist?

Many "Christians" claim to worship Jesus, a man who died a brutal death on a cross, to fufill the will God had for him, but don't expect that they should have to give up anything for God or suffer any harm? And the word "Christian" suggests like Christ, so why wouldn't they expect to be like Christ in the ways he is known for, suffering for God's will?

I read the links and the actual bible verses (most of Genesis, actually). Here's what I came up with:
Esau was a hard worker. Jacob helped his mom around the house. Esau had such a rough day one day, that he thought he might die, and he asked his brother for some food. Jacob held the food for ransom. Esau, thinking he might die without some food, said ok. Brothers being what they are, he maybe thought his brother was being a jerk, but wasn't really going to try to take his birthright....he was wrong.
Then, with the blessing...it was a blessing specifically for ESAU. Isaac checked several times to make sure it was Esau and not Jacob. When Esau got back, after doing what his father asked, he found out he had been robbed of his blessing too! And it says he cried about it, so he DID care....
Now, someone said the person who told me the story must have been Muslim, because they think Esau was right. (He's a Baptist, btw)
I think Esau got a raw deal: does that make me a Muslim?

Regardless of which faith/religion you practice, do you support the idea of missionary work, i.e. going out into the world with a view towards ultimately convincing others of the superiority of your faith/religion, be it through discussion, debate, good deeds, charity, etc.?

Have you engaged in this kind of activity yourself? Have you supported it financially or otherwise? Why or why not?

I just bought a copy of the Necronomicon from a second hand bookstore. Anyone ever read it before? It's some pretty heavy stuff. All about demons and Deep Old Ones and raising the dead... do you think reading a book like this is a sin?

19 If anyone injures his neighbor, whatever he has done must be done to him: 20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has injured the other, so he is to be injured. 21 Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a man must be put to death. Leviticus 24:19-21 (New International Version)

23 But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise. Exodus 21:23-25 (New International Version)

Darwin admitted that the human eye would have been impossible to put together in one evolutionary leap. But who said it was? If everything started from a one celled creature it probably needed an eye fro a loooong time. So why couldn't it have developed little by little until it was functional and eventually there was a creature with functioning eyes? It's ancestors could have had useless part eyes that didn't do anything. But here's the glory of the evolution theory: It's still a theory.
For my question, I think this makes it hard to completely disprove evolution. What do you say about things like an angler fish? It lives so deep it never sees light, but it does have eyes (and many other fish have eyes that don't use them) along with a glowing lure to attract other fish. So, it has eyes so it's ancestors need them, but it has a glowing lure to attract fish in pitch black areas. Did it's ancestors with good eyes need a lure in lighted ares? Then where did it come from?

I just want to tell you that you are believing in the wrong religion. I got the latest edition of O magazine (Oprah's own magazine A.K.A. The Winfrey Prophecies) and I have finally understood how to decode her teachings. Throughout every Oprah Winfrey show, she has done free giveaways. I took the number of the episode that she did a free giveaway show for every season and lined it in sequential order. I deciphered her teachings like so. Let's say the first number I got for season one was 4. I wrote down the fourth letter of her featured article for the fourth issue of "O" magazine. Let's say, the next number was 8... I looked at the eighth issue and recorded the 8th letter of the featured article. What I got was shocking, mind-blowing, and enlightening. I may not reveal this message to you here, as it is dangerous if this knowledge falls into the wrong hands. All I can say is "The time will come". The day of reckoning and judgement is upon us. Forget all you have been taught...

I've been having very bad dreams about Mr. Bush. I have these flashbacks about people that I haven't seen in a longtime before
their death.I knows that only one president who was elected in a year ending a zero has completed a full term. Ronald Reagan. In 2000 & 2002 I had these flashbacks about two teachers that I was fond of & I had not seen in over 30 years. I pickup my newspapers a few days only to read about their deaths. I guesses that I am cursed. I truly hopes that these dreams will stop. I just hates these
dreams and flashbacks.
