My buddy had a couple Mormon's come to his door and he invited them in his place, but they declined and said they were not supposed to come inside. Is this a rule for all Mormon's, or was it just their preference not to enter due to possible safety issues?

and the bartender offers them a drink. Being very holy people they refuse the alcohol and ask only for a glass of water and some popcorn. They also play some pull tabs to pass the time.

After they have finished their popcorn and water and haven't won anything at the pull tabs, the muslim turns to the Jew and launches a big rocket up his *ss.

See, I knew that homosexuality was the solution to most major world conflicts.

Have you found peace? Are you on the right track? Do you perceive the world differently than before? Do you communicate with a deity or deities (prayers, etc)? Why do you think we find ourselves on this journey?

If Jesus died for my sins then I should sin as much as possible so his death isn't meaningless, right?

Okay, so I saw a question the other day that said (something like): "Why did Esau despise his birthright?" Now, admittedly I did not read the story, but I was told by someone who studied the bible for years, that Esau did not despise his birthright. His twin brother Jacob tricked thier blind father into giving Jacob the birthright that should have gone to Esau. Can someone clear this up for me, or tell me where to find the story so I can read it myself?
Thank you!

I think that you all need to read the bible more and stop fighting with each other on whats what... Like stop being mean... if you have a question, then ask, don't be a smart-alic about it... Just be resonable... thats all. Peace((IN))

A lot of people here say I'm going there, and I guess they're right, because I'm not a male virgin, so do I not qualify. I don't mind that much, how much fun can it be playing harp with a bunch of male virgins when you're not gay? But one thing that bothers me is hot, humid weather. I get really sweaty and uncomfortable. Just how hot is it, and can I get an air-conditioned apartment there?

What is everybody trying to gain when bickering back and forth about thier religious preference? Are people simply trying to convert others or are they ultimately hoping they will just die? Are humans incapable of peacefully letting others believe in whatever they choose? How does it really effect a person if another believes differently? It just seems silly, childish and a waste of time that could be spent on something more productive. There will never be one universal religion so why all the effort to 'convert' everybody? Why can't we all love eachother?

When I ask questions about the mystery of life, people assume that I am losing faith, when the reality is that it has gotten stronger.

I think that any Christian who stops believing in God to believe theories or change their religion right now is crazy.

Can people see that we are at the worst times, and the World gets worse and worse? That would be the worst mistake of my life.

How can a person who has build his faith and maintained it for with a lot of study and dedication for years and years is going to lose it all of the sudden for words created by men trying to find what God created in their own human version. The minds of men are not perfect to be always right.

I think atheism to the atheist is a reason for that person to do whatever they want without consequence. I also think that not many support atheism because athiesm offers no hope. I have met many many many athiests...I am friends with several...but I have yet to meet one optomistic athiest. Every one I've met is mad at the world (or mainly at Christians). They have no positive thing to say...and well...that can be a drag. No one likes a negative person. No one wants to fellowship with a negative person. People as a general whole are searching not necessarily for God (although I believe Him to be the answer) but for hope...something positive...something to bring light to their already dark and dull day of work or sickness or pain. Atheism has nothing to offer except for a life of anything you can conceive of doing with no immediate consequences for your actions. And although that's initially appealing, I don't think too many are fooled. What do you have to offer and are you truly happy?

I find myself coming up with a few questions and hypocrisies about Christianity that keep me from completely embracing the religion. For instance this pickle... the Christian religions say if you are homosexual, you are going to hell. Now I'm not gay, but I understand that that true gays are born gay which means God made them that way, so why are they being condemned to hell? Does that mean God doesn't want us to be ourselves? Whats the dilly? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts but especially by the practicing Christians out there.

If I am wrong, as a christian, then I die with a clear conscience. If you are wrong, then you go to HELL. Why take that chance?
