If you have to convert to a different religion to be in a relationship with someone, you're not being true to yourself or your beliefs.

I converted to catholicism before I got married because his family decided that it was what I should do. I'm divorced now. I learned a lot by converting but... not sure I would do it again.

I had a boyfriend at one time that wanted to marry me, but he was Jewish, and I'm Wiccan. I briefly considered converting to Judaism, in name only, but decided against it. I wasn't going to change my religion just for him, and if wanted to be with me so badly, he could have without the conversion.

You should never convert to anything FOR anyone else!!! DO things for YOU. It is not wise to please others by changing ones self. Also if a relationship is meant to be, why is your partner not willing to convert to your religion????
