I was born an Atheists and you were too. So ask a new born child without sin, What if you are wrong? cuz we all born Atheists. And if we are wrong according to the christian religion. I will forever burn in hell with mass killers rapist etc. Even if I never done any wrong or done any other sins in my entire life. god is a dictator you must bend to his will or death. But I know that religon is not true. Religon is a way to control the weak. Ill be the judge of my own sins not some fantasy. when we die there will be noting but a dark void of obivion. And if you go to heaven? Forever is alot longer then you may know.
Why take that chance?
There is no god.
god IS ACID

Pascal's Wager. You assume that there are only two options, but an infinite number of gods could exist and if you choose the wrong one you too will end up in their hell. A god may exist that rewards skeptecism and punishes blind faith. In this case, atheists will go to this god's form of heaven, and theists will go to hell. Also, a person doesn't choose what to believe in. Can you make yourself believe in Santa Clause?
I've included some links below that better explain this problem. The basic two points are below.
"Avoiding the wrong hell problem
Because of the multitude of possible religions, if any faith is as likely as the other, the probability of the christian being right is P=1/n where n is the number of possible faiths. If we assume that there is an infinite amount of possible gods (i.e. ideas of gods), the probability of you being right is infinitely small.
Because Pascal's wager fails to tell us which god is likely to be the right one, you have a great probability that you picked the wrong religion and go to some other religion's version of hell."
"The loss from religion
Pascal also made the incorrect statement that you would lose nothing from believing if you are wrong. This is not true either. Assume that you are wrong in being a theist. You will waste a lot of time and energy on going to church, praying and religious rituals. Imagine if all the energy that, throughout human history, had been wasted on such activities had been used to improve the world instead. Then maybe we would have had heaven here on earth instead."

You see the difference here is that of being a christian or an atheist. You see God is so loving that he does not judge you form your label --- atheist/christian. He judges you according to your WORKS ( WAYS ) . Many professed atheists do not know the God of the BIBLE but their CONSCIENCE, which God gives them and they are not aware of, is followed successfully ! Your knowing of what is right /wrong is your God-given conscience. And many atheists do what they believe is right and God would judge them innocent. The opposite is those who professed to be christians and no DOERS of His Word ! This is what is meant by the Fairness of the God who gives us life today and hope for eternal life. There is no doubt that very soon this world is going to end and Jesus the Son of God will come back from heaven to take His people home. If you are an atheist and you are reading this message, then do not harden your heart.... Now is the day of salvation ! Search for God's people ( Seventh Day Adventists ) and learn more of God and will to the human race... for time is very SHORT ! Mind you , NEGLIGENCE IS A SIN ... GOD BLESS YOU !!!

You are making both or one of these two assumptions:
1. "Without belief in God, one cannot live morally with a clear conscience and atheists have no morality." This is patently incorrect. If you don't believe it just ask an atheist. I am sure there are some who are terrible lechers and villains. And there are also some of very high moral upstanding and character. This is not really something that needs to be questioned logically or philosophically-- there's people who don't believe in God but that have high moral standards. Does that seem irrational to you? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, it's irrelevant, assumption #1 is blatantly false.
2. This one is more critical and frightening: You assume that "If God exists He would find blind faith in him more important and valuable than good moral behaviour."
That prospect is awful. That you should believe that says something negative about you if you do; a religion that postulates that speaks negatively about itself, and a God who follows that policy is not a God but a Devil.
So to answer your question, my morality does not come from God; it comes from a higher authority. And if upon death I find out that in fact there is a God and that God finds blind faith more important than moral behaviour and good works, then I will definitely not wish I had believed in him. I will be even more happy and even more glad that I didn't. And if He sends me to Hell I'll go willingly and spend the rest of eternity fighting Him.
Your attitude is childish and simple. You believe in God for the same reason a dog does a trick: to avoid a corporal punishment and obtain a corporal reward. If God turned out to reward immoral behaviour you'd probably switch around and engage in that. But my principles come from a higher authority than any childish notion like yours and I'd gladly suffer for them.
You probably wouldn't because you have none.

And what if you're wrong? What if you die only to discover that the Hindu gods (for example) were in charge all along and there's neither heaven nor hell, just an endless cycle of reincarnation?
I also hope to die with a clear conscience, if that's humanly possible. And if I should meet god, I think my chances will be exactly the same as yours. After all, your holy book teaches that we are judged not by what we believed, but by what we did ("For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat....").

So what u are saying is god would prefer me to pretend to believe rather than be honest about my beliefs? I cannot force myself to believe just like u cannot force yourself not to believe. If i am wrong that will be between god and i, and at the end of the day i have lead a good and honest life, i have never hurt anyone and i have strong moral values, i have all this and i have done all this without the bribery of heaven or the threat of hell. I am a good person for no other reason than it is the best way to live and it is just the kind of person i am. If ur god is as utterly fantastic as u say he is then i am sure he will understand.

That argument is called Pascal's wager and it doesn't work. What if god is only going to let those into heaven that are brave enough not to believe in him? It goes both ways. There are many reasons why it doesn't work, google it if you're interested. Also, if your god does in fact exist and he is going to send me to hell for not believing in him then he doesn't deserve to be worshiped anyways.
"If I am wrong, as a christian, then I die with a clear conscience."
If you're wrong then your whole life will have been one big lie. Not to mention a lot of wasted time and money. (Prayer, church, tithes, etc.)
"If you are wrong, then you go to HELL. Why take that chance?"
What if your praying to the wrong god? What if you should be praying to Allah and you're actually going to go to hell? What if that is true and Allah will be kinder to those that simply don't worship than to those that are worshiping a false god? If that's the case then you're taking a much bigger chance than I am.

You start with 10,000 Karma points.
Need 10,000 Karma points to go the Heaven. Choicing a God cost 5000 Karma points. Choicing the right God gives you Karma 10,000 points. The most points you can get from life is 5000 Karma points if you lived a perfect life free some sin or any wrong-doing.
A good atheist does not choose a God, so he/she is up 5000 Karma points from someone who chooses a God. A good atheist has a very good chance of going to Heaven.
If you choice the wrong God, you must live a perfect and sinless life in order to get to Heaven.
If you choose the right God, lucky you. You can commit a few sins like masturbating, having pre-marital sex, and lusting over someone's wife and still go to Heaven.
Choicing God is a big gamble. Make sure you choose the right one or you are going to Hell.

Your statement is why we don't care. Don't you see what you're saying? That is exactly how they get people to stick with them. How could any reasonable God send some one to an eternal life of suffering just because they never found any reason to believe in him? Sounds like a jerk to me. But luckily I don't have a shred of belief in it so I'm not worried anyways, how can something I don't believe exists scare me? And by the way, what if Christianity is wrong, then you're going to hell for a different religion under that philosophy.

If I am wrong I die without sin or blame. At least I will not have the blood of millions of innocent people on my hands like the religious will. If there is a god he will grant me peace, but only 144,000 are going to heaven and the tickets were sold out a long time ago. I do not think you modern Christians are going to need to pack long under wear for your destination. LOL
