I have not. I have lied, cheated, stolen things, etc. According to the New Testament I have commited adultery (looking at someone lustfully is committing adultery in your heart).
I have given my life to Jesus. He paid the penalty for my wrong, and I in turn have turned my life around to do what He has called me to.
Jesus said the greatest commandment is to 1) Love the Lord your God with all you heart, soul and mind and 2) Love your neighbor as yourself. The person next to me is my neighbor. When I go to work, it's my co-workers. When I walk down the street, it's the homeless man that needs a meal. When I go to church, it's the person in the next pew dealing with conviction and needing prayer.
So what I do is Love God with everything, commit my love to Him with my heart, study His word to love Him with my mind and pray to love Him with my soul.
Then I go to the people I meet and love them as I would myself. When they need prayer, I pray for them. When they need food, I bring them a meal. When they are struggling at work, I help them catch up.
These are the commandments I can follow to the best of my ability. And the ones that I have done wrong in the past, I turn around and begin to follow to the best of my ability. I have never said Christians are perfect, just forgiven. We are no better than anyone else, myself included.

The ten commandments came to show us that we could NOT live up to them. Keeping every single one of them meant eternal security with God. Breaking just one bit of one of them meant death. Atonement for laws broken were made by offering sacrificial lambs (and other animals) upon the alter (since our life is in our blood, it was blood for blood).
The law came to show us that we were not able to keep the commandments. We are weak human beings. The law came to show us just how sinful that we all are. The law is like a bulls-eye on a target. The bulls-eye isn't bad or evil or wrong, it's just that none of us can hit it. The Hebrew word for sin translates into "missing the mark."
A Savior was promised way before the ten commandments were ever given. The Savior, Messiah, was prophesied of all through the Scriptures until the appointed time of his appearance.
Jesus is that Messiah. Historically speaking, he fulfilled every prophecy made about the Messiah, including his lineage. He came in the form of a man, yet as the only man who was able to keep the entire law (hit the bulls-eye). He took the wrath of God on Himself-the wrath we deserved for never hitting the mark- he took the penalty and died a cruel death.
He became the final sacrifice. God then raised him up, so that he defeated even death. If you have ever read about Moses in the wilderness, when the Israelis rebelled and snakes were sent to bite the people to punish them, Moses prayed for the people, and God provided a healing for them. A great brass snake was erected in the desert. All who had been bitten needed only to look at the snake and they would be healed.
That was a picture of things to come. By looking to Jesus, by trusting him with my life, I am saved from the penalty of the law.
Of course, I think the ten commandments are important rules to follow, and I desire to live by them. But, I take comfort in what Paul said, "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." 1John 2:1
And that's how I deal with it. ;-)

The ten comandments were put there to show us how utterly helpless we actually are. Everyone is sinful. That is why Jesus Christ died on the cross, he died for our sins. That means that our sins have been dealt with already by the son of God. Not only this but in Christ there is no longer an condemnation. If a Christian is feeling condemed it is by God. God is faithful to us... we just need to repent ( turn away) from our sins. If we continue sinning it is basically slapping the son of God in the face.

No one can live up to the 10 commandments, let alone the 613 total commandments, this is exactly why Jesus came. Christianity is all about Salvation in Jesus, not being perfect.

I don't have to because Jesus has done it for me. Ten commandment is in the Old Testament when Jesus came He fulfill it for us and cut a new covenant - New Testament for us. We are no longer justified by the ten commandment.

I'm a christian and I try to live up to the ten commandments, but I still sin. God doesn't make anyone perfect and no one is perfect except God. So, God sent his son, Jesus, to give us a chance to be forgiven. So when we sin we ask God for forgivness. And he always forgives us, no matter what the sin, but we have to mean it from our hearts when we ask. And we have to live for him too.
GOD IS AWESOME!!!

Being human, there are going to be times in which we are not as loving as we should be.
When this happens, Catholics can be forgiven by God through the sacrament of Reconciliation. If a person is truly sorry for their sins, admits the wrong they have done, and repents, he or she can be forgiven.

We are told not to sin. It is our resposibility to not sin. However, without the HOLY SPIRIT, it is not possible.
