I think it is interesting that miracles such as burning bushes were easier to pull off a few thousand years ago. Back then all people had were the small things, so the miracles came in the form of great grand gestures.

With all of our advanced technology and FX capabilities now, we look at all the small things to find miracles these days.

I am an atheists and while I respect the beliefs of others, I feel that to interpret supernatural bible stories as being documentary fact says more about the believers ignorance than their faith. These stories are morality tales, and have beneficial points to make when that is realised.

Most Christan's believe that these events happened. They believe this because its in the bible. The bible is the word and teaching of god and his son Jesus Christ . Its requires faith and an open mind to believe in something. It requires emptiness and closed mind to destroy that belief.

i believe the bible says 'burning talking bush', when God appread to Moses, and 'talking snakes', when eve was tempted by Satan. Even today the snakes talks to you when you obey his orders to voilate Gods sacred laws. And you disobey the 'burning bush' senario when he convicts you of your wrong doings.

humble "childlike" people know God, the prideful will never know god>

Mathew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven"

I believe they were all stories in the bible and were made up to make a point. Still valid...just maybe not very true. :)
