Just think about it. If the truth is we are at the mercy of a mindless creator(evolution), that can make conscious beings without even breaking a sweat trying to think about it, and many people are born in the worst possible environments, suffer the worst attrocities, and in the course of eternity the chances that you can become concious again are the same chance you had before being made concious this time, then isnt it scientificaly true, we are all screeewed.

O.k. so I am thinking of becoming a nun and I dont understand why so many people look down upon nuns and badmouth them. They give their life to God and work and pray for everyone in the world. So I just dont get why they are the brunt of vulgar jokes etc.

whats next, are we going to teach kids how to put on condoms in class? or open up public nude beaches, show partial nudity on broadcast TV, and allow women to walk around topless all day long if they want? we're turning into europe as we speak, why not abandon all our religious values

and i dont care that the teen pregnancy rate in europe is half that of the united states, or that the rate of sexually transmitted infection is fifty to a hundred less than the united states. i don't even care that the US is by far the leader among the western world in both catagories. its about right and wrong, and i dont want to see us lose our religious values

questions by "I'm REPORTING you" and often may I add in the religious category.
What could the pshycological reason behind this?
What could the religious motive for this phenomena be?
PS: Does one score points for reporting somebody or is the act of reporting directly related with pre-occupation in others people's affairs?

Read the Coptics versions? Orthodox versions? Greek ? Mormon? Jehovah witnesses? Nag Hammdi versions?

How do you KNOW that you have the correct version IF you did not study each one, compare it, and check for consistency?

What criteria did you apply to reject all the others and choose one?

Did you do your own homework or do you rely upon preachers?

If God intended the Bible on Christians, why do you think that he did not intend it for the entire world? Obviously, other religious writings were made and I want to know why you believe the Bible is 100% as opposed to other religions of the world. I mean, if you were raised a muslim, do you think you would have changed to christianity? Now, keep in mind, you can only answer yes to this if you truly understand the Quran too.

how can muslims expect Europeans and Indians(read Christians,Jews and Hindus) to be secular where they are minorities and totally ban other religions(implementing sharia law) and supress non-muslims in any muslims majority state?

Except a few muslims countries most don't allow other religions to be practised, while they cry foul even in the most secular countries(like in France which bans head scarf).

Muslims, what justification can you give about this?

There are several places where it says man-on-man sex is a sin (like Leviticus 18:22), but can't find anything about woman-on-woman.

Moses said-the life of the flesh is in the blood, and ive given it to make atonement for your souls." where is our blood atonement if its not Jesus.
answers given Alliilve calling me a liar -well explain please
oklatom-saying if u believe in christ it means your not Jewish-but Christ is greek from cristos -in hebrew Moshiach meaning Messiah-acturally if u dont believe in a Christ comming or already here you reject that there is to be a Messiah and your not Jewish-the question to you non Jews who say your Jewish is who fulfills the Messianic prophecies to be the blood atonement for our souls?
Isaiah stated 700 bce "He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man, and will lay down his life as a lamb to make atonement for our souls."
are we to say if u reject Moses and Isaiah then your Jewish? lol this is funny kinda blind and sad too.

duh. Hebrews 4:12 shows that God's Word is "alive and sharper than any two-edged sword." any regular book written by humans can't be described by "alive." think of this.

If you dictate to someone, and they write down what you say--word for word--who is the one responsible for the concepts behind the statements? Is it you, or is that other person? It's you, because you thought of what to say, the other just recorded it onto paper. That's how the Bible was written, God "spoke", man recorded. He "inspired" men and they wrote down His Word. Mark 13:31 says that "when all things have passed away, God's Word will still exist!" the Bible has to be God's Word. 2 Timothy 3:15-17 shows us the BIBLE IS GOD'S THOUGHTS AND WORDS! If God is God, there can be no contradictory statements in His Word. People take things out of context, force them to fit their wishes, and say "hey look, it's contradictory." goes to show them how dumb they are. Jesus existed, 500 people saw Him ascend.

Pedophilia is against the law, it's wrong to break that law. I am no way a pedophile, but what I was wondering is where in the bible does it say pedophilia is a sin? The United States law covers it, but does the bible specifically say pedophilia is a sin?
Again, I am in NO WAY a pedophile or a monster; I'm asking this question because I'm having a debate with someone over other issues. All serious answers greatly appreciated.

Why do so many people answer questions with religious statements? It seems like it is only Christians that do that? You don't see other people pushing their religion like that!
I don't really think a question like who is you favourite celeb needs to have a religious answer, but that my opionion, what do you think?
