Sorry I can't because I can hardly last without food for 5 hours. It does sound a good way to just focus on God, but for me it seems the opposite because I will be always thinking of food. Not that this is a bad idea, it's just I can't do it now.

I'm sorry, no, I'll pass. Putting myself into a hypoglycemic comma just to get a passing high off it, no thanks.

Besides, I just keep remembering the lyrics to the Concrete Blond song:

"I told the priest - don't count onAny second coming.God got his *** kicked the first time heCame down here slummingHe had the balls to come, the gall to dieAnd then forgive us -No, I don't wonder whyI wonder what he thoughtIt would get us - hey hey, good try -"

And may I add to that pray for the peace of Jerusalem?
Jose, read the question again, I don't think she said that she wanted the Lord to come on Saturday, although it would be nice... don't be disrespectful. Angel dear you need to explain this for those who can't think when they read...

Why, again? I'm sure Jesus will come when the time is here--use your prayers on something you can actually have an effect on like the suffering of the sick or poor, world peace, that all souls reach heaven--the conversion of sinners.!!!!!!

Use your graces!!!

Our Lord is coming this Saturday?! Tomorrow?! I really have to get the place clean, then. I don't think I'll be able to clean and fast.

How do you know he's coming. I would like more details because it would be so nice if he were and I wouldn't mind fasting and praying for that. I think you just made that up.
