A 19'6" human skeleton found in 1577 A.D. under an overturned oak tree in the Canton of Lucerne.

23-foot tall skeleton found in 1456 A.D. beside a river in Valence, France.

A 25' 6 " skeleton found in 1613 A.D. near the castle of Chaumont in France. This was claimed to be a nearly complete find.

Almost beyond comprehension or believability was the find of the two separate 36-foot human remains uncovered by Carthaginians somewhere between 200-600 B.C.

It even says it in the bible. Why would god send you to hell if you didnt know the truth. I think if god is fair he wouldn't do that. I honestly think that people that say that are ignorants and they're brainwashed.

I've been thinking about this whole christianity thing and came to a conclusion. It really seems limiting in spiritual growth. I'm thinking about all the things I learned about hinduism, buddhism, gnosticism, mysticism, even atheism. I have learned so much more about living in the now, understanding jesus more, even being able to interpret some of the deeper meanings of the bible. It taught me that WE do exist on multiple levels of reality. the bible really limits this. There is alot of truth in it, but there is so much more in the rest of the world. It seems everyone got a piece of the puzzle, and if the message was to love thy neighbor, and love meaning "understanding", we could fit all the pieces together. Have you ever wondered if someone could take the best and most beneficial parts of all religions, well it is out there, but these guys only want serious deep thinkers and self-determined people capable of serving mankind to the fullest.

why are non-believers always trying to prove that they are right, that God does not exist, instead of just leaving us who believe do what we believe?

If one thing in the quran is false, then all of Islam is wrong because the quran is supposed to be perfect from Allah. Then how come the quran teaches that man's sperm comes from his chest?

What do Christians make of dinosaur fossils? Do they completely deny they ever existed? Or do they believe dinosaurs roamed the earth 6,000 years ago?

What about evidence of human activity over 6,000 years old?

Was the universe also created 6,000 year ago? If so, what do you make of some distant stars? Their light takes over 10,000+ years to reach earth, making the universe older than 6,000 years old. Do Christians discredit this just like they deny carbon dating?

“14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. [c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God's law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in my sinful nature [d] a slave to the law of sin.”

Please provide names immeditaly as these harlots must be beat to death. Thank you for your cooperation.

As always, anyone who does not provide a name is collaborating with sinners and will be beaten.

How do you view it? Honest beliefs only please. Do you think your whole spirit goes into another person? Can it go into an animal? Broken up and goes into lots of beings? Through DNA to our children? Through our deeds? Just curious as to what other people find plausible?

Pease note, keep your answers as short and concise as possible remembering; " In the multitude of words, there lacketh not sin. " For those of you who aren't believers, I'll advise this question has been posted in it's specific category for those who are so minded. Your comments are not solicited understandably, even less, contumely, irrelevant, or disrespectful remarks. Thank you.

will exist the same way as you do now in Heaven. To be in a corporreal form in Heaven? You're body exists on this plane. Does your soul have legs? Does it need to it? How can you justify the assumption that you will exist in heaven forever? Especially as a human!

For the Christian death is only temporary, we look forward to that day because we will live eternally in heaven.

The peace we have comes from the one who has kept all his promises to us.

He promised us he would suffer, die, and rise..

Luke 24:46He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,

Then he delivered..
Acts 10:39"We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree, 40but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.

He promises us salvation through faith..
Hebrews 9:27Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

He will deliver.

Are you afraid to die?

2006-08-04 08:22:15 · 16 answers · asked by d8 2

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. [Another biblical contradiction]

This is a serious question to Christians, no bashing intended:

What do you think is the nicest, most polite way a person can (or has in your experience) basically told you that they weren't interested in Christianity, or accepting Jesus into their hearts, etc. I really want to know, if you were telling someone about God and they told you they weren't interested -- how would you want them to say it? (This is assuming they didn't say yes.)

For the past 3 years I've like this guy. This past year I thought that we finally was going to be in a relationship, but he turned out to be this guy that I wanted to have a future with, but on the other hand someone who will probably bring me down. Its hard to get over him since I put my whole heart into having feelings for him. Now I'm trying to give my life over to God and move on from having feelings about this guy. With Gods help, will I be able to move on?
