All of the Western religions and Islam come from the same tradition. So far as the specifics go...God doesn't "love" the Jews...Christians don't understand that the Jews were chosen to do living penance for the sins of humanity. In the end the Jews for suffering that penance will be the gatekeepers of heaven...the 144000 people you refer to. PEACE!

He does not love Jews the best;He loves them equally. They are the Chosen race as the tool to bring all the peoples (as many among the population as are willing) back unto Him. There are theories that when the tribes of Israel were scattered, much of the blood got mixed among the Gentile races. It is likely that most of us have at least a thin amount of Israelitish blood. Plus, most of the Jews today have at least a little Gentile blood mixed into them. So you see, it is not a matter of blood. The arms of Jesus Christ are open to all.

That is not what the 144,000 reference means. God loves all people the same and wants all to come to him. The New Testament clearly says that all who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ will be with him for eternity.
The interpretation I understand is that this represents a group of Jewish people that will come to faith in Christ in the last days.
However - we need to be aware with prophecy that God will do this in his time and in in the manner he chooses. Like the ancient prophecies of Christ.
We cannot exactly how but do know that it will all be fulfilled.
