I know the majority of you are itching to give a negative comment, but I'm just curious. So a simple yes or no would be nice. I ask this because I see a lot of comments about Jehovah's Witnesses that turn out to be false and disproven by information on the website and from actually speaking with one.

First of all thank you for visiting this question. Moving to the point, we all know that religion was created by man and hence it is not related to god in any way. But the people have modified it according to their whims and fantasies to suite their prowess. My question is actually on the objective on which 'religion' was first created. Please put forth your views in detail. And please keep in mind that this question is not about "God" or any of religious books and doctrines. So please exclude such topics. I thank everyone in advance. Good luck to you all.

This claim was famously made by the Rev Ian Paisley, moderator of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, and now head of the largest political party in Northern Ireland.

Just wondering if other protestants share this view.

There's signs that are clearly stated in the bible as far as the prophesy of Jesus' second coming. Many things are happening that are just too exact to the word of God. It's becoming a big concern for me lately, because I feel the strong urge to read more of the word and let people know that God wants our souls.

Why would satan torture sinners after they die? After all, satan hates god and god hates sinners so shouldnt the devil take care of them, train them up a bit and put them into his army?

James 2:8-12: If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.

Therefore, all of the bashing, attacking, and fighting back against nonbelievers is just another sin for you. So why do it? Why not let them believe what they want? Why continue to provide scripture to nonbelievers? They do not believe what you are telling them, so using that to convince them is not going to work. Scripture can only convince someone who already believes.

About The GOD of Abraham.
----

Yes... except that most Christians are too dense to understand that. Allah is the same old jealous, petty, mass-murdering psychopathic Abrahamic diety of desert monotheism that is described in the Old Testament... Yawyeh... Jehovah... whatever.

Christians seem to think that around 2,000 years ago, this diety developed some kind of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), in which it manifested a hippie-like personality (which spent some time on earth, and can now be eaten in the form of a cracker), and some Casper the Ghost-like character with pedophilic tendencies (suspected of having impregnated a 12 or 13 year-old virgin... and being honored for it). The Moslems, however, do not share that belief; they see it as its same-old psychopathic self, essentially unchanged since its old-testament days... except that it seems to have updated its reward system about 1,500 years ago, when he started handing over virgins, in heaven, to be defiled by insane zealots, as a show of gratitude for them having carried out mass-murder in its name. ( I think that's what happens to Catholic nuns, after they die. Where else would they find enough virgins?)

when i read some of your ideas, i sense intolerence, hostility, and hatred.is that what your religion has taught you?i understand that maybe you're tryin to make a point like everyone else, but do you think that such hostility is going to make people want to see your point of view?....kinda counter productive wouldn't ya say?RELIGION IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE AFRAID TO GO TO HELL....SPIRITUALITY IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN THERE....by the way, i do have a higher power, and its not jesus...and im glad because my beliefs do not involve hatred intolerance and fear.hipocrits!

School Prayer Matthew 6:5-6 is a clear example. Jesus says don't make a big deal out of prayer just do it in private.

Kids are already praying before tests

And Gay Marriage Amendment - wedge issue, its already ILLEGAL in 48 states, so why bring this up if not to divide the voters.
