...90% of all current conflicts seem to link back to one subject - RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES. I have no religious beliefs, but surely one of the underlying principles of all religion is an opposition to war and fighting. Therefore, all you religious types are making a mockery of yourselves and making your beliefs seem ludicrous. Give me one good answer where your religion justifies violence or war. If you can, then your religion is surely nothing short of supporting war mongering, which in principle is totally wrong.

I think police tasers should be used only in deadly situations. Right now the police can use tasers on citizens for minor reasons. Putting 50,000 volts of electricity through a person over a minor reason is ridiculous. Tasers need to be banned from police agencies.

If there is a Heaven, what would it look like to you? And what would be the first thing you'd ask for? I'd want the love of my life to spend eternity with me, and to never grow old so he'd always be sexy. OR if I got killed, I'd want to know who did it.

I'm not saying that you think everyone should be forced to believe as you believe, but do you think that what you believe in is the correct belief system???

For example, when you think about people who believe in God or follow a religious belief system do you think they're brainwashed, ignorant, or mislead?( Which would show that you believe there is a correct way to believe and they aren't following it)

I ask because some people talk bad about Christians and say it’s because “they are narrow minded and think things should be done their way,” which is following the Word of God. But don't you also believe things should be done your way??

This question is for church-going Christians (though I'm sure plenty of non-Christians will have their insulting fun as well). When singing songs in church such as Heart of Worship, do you believe what you sing, or are you just mouthing the words? There is a line that says "Oh I feel like dancing...it's foolishness, I know...but when the world has seen the light...they will dance with joy as we're dancing now." But in every church I've been to...no one is dancing! So tell me...are you mouthing words as an act, do you not sing them (that's my practice, sing only what I agree with), or why do you sing those words? I know some of you may dance, and that's cool then...not my thing, but I can respect that.

Which one explains how the universe fundamentally works better, string theory or the bible? Isn't it impressive how the Quantum Mechanics and Relativity can be combined so eloquently? Could the bible combine the force of gravity with the three other forces in the universe as well? Isn't it pretty cool how M-theory does away with the need for a beginning or an end to the universe, and therefor doesn't require a creator? Isn't it beautiful how string theory resonates with music and isn't it an amazing coincidence that "universe" translates to "one song" in English?

ie: They haven't changed their beliefs to suit the changing times and culture. they still know that homosexuality is a sin (one of the few unequivocal and explicit teachings in the Bible), abortion is murder, etc. I'm Presbyterian but the Presbyterian Church USA has even considered ordaining gays as pastors! so i cant find a church thats right 4 me. Any1 know any churches that still practice that ol' time religion? Any such regions in the country?
