And have you realized that the morals of your american society have been decaying? The whole world knows it because they observe you.

The Faith is getting over and the morals disappearing. Don't they go one with the other?

Good to know they are still believers. I want people to know that, your country has been given a bad example to the rest of the countries, and the rest imitate them. There are countries were the majority STILL has faith in God and the law of Religion,God separated from the government, schools, news, etc doesn't exist. People aren't afraid to talk about God in public. Praying isn't banned in schools!. We pray for others and share the blessing!

What are you people getting influenced with? What your country is getting lost?

Please maintain your faith and don't lose it. Don't harm your reputations, change the opinions of the people of the whole world.

I am getting a bad impression in this forum and it makes me realize that the majority stopped believing. What a shame.

Everybody thinks that Americans are liberals with no control of their lives. That the woman are easy. Everybody is promiscuous. Sexually Transmitted Diseases are everywhere. Young people killing each other in schools. No control in nothing.

And am I going to believe that choosing your own destiny and believes is right?
So why is your country this way?

No not entirely, even if one does not acknowledge God they can still acknowledge the conscious God gave them which can lead them to do right, even if they don't know why their mind says one thing is right another is wrong.

Also it's not like any other country is morally superior to the united states.

Edit: I realize only answered the second part of the question. In regard to
"Have Americans been "convinced" that there is no God?"

The problem is not those who don't believe in God, still only a small portion of Americans are atheists. The problem is those who believe in God, and even a specific God but don't allow those beliefs to affect the way the live. They may believe in a God who instructs them to live a good and moral life but they don't follow those instructions.

An estimated 90% of U.S. citizens claim to believe in God (in some way, shape or form). An estimated 75-80% of Americans are Christian, making it the largest religion in the country. The third largest religion in the U.S. is Islam.

So - I don't think that most Americans have been "convinced" that there is no God. Perhaps many are hypocrites - that's certainly a strong pssibility.

In a way yes. It seems that the only time people actually relize God's existance is when their in a tight place in ther life. Cluture, morals, and traditions are slowly fadding away and being replaced with entertainment and a buch of so called reality tv shows. Prety soon life as we know it will one day be currupted and our modern world will come to an end.

Has America gotten worse? Probably. But America has been bad all along, just like everywhere else. Just now, we have means of communication enabling us to show it more.. a la TV, movies, radio, newspaper, Internet etc. etc.

America is only of the very few places you can go through the Faith of Jesus and have little resistance and loathing. Or little compared to other cultures and people of the world.

No, we're not convinced that there is no God. But, the US as a nation is a spoiled nation. I know b/c I live here. We have been richly blessed, but now, we're giving ourselves the pat on the back for it instead of giving glory to God. We will suffer the consequences. I pray for our country...9/11 was just an appetizer, I'm afraid. God change our country's heart...turn us back to you.

Yes, I think all in all faith and morals do go hand and hand. And no, I dont think they are convinced there is no God--they are just turning their back on Him. Too many people still try to seek Him when they have probelms or are dying. It is sad we are such users! I believe He is real--I KNOW HE is, and I am so amazed that the God of the Universe takes time for me!

So, I have no morals because I am an atheist. Great logic there. What is it about religion that people think makes them better? Our American society is in decay because our leaders pander to the Christians, are elected, then prove to be useless.

You are very clearly ignorant of American and world history if you seriously believe people are less "moral" today than they were when "Christianity" was at its peak in the US.

(e.g., when the bible & prayer was required or allowed in schools)

And, it appears you are willfully ignorant since history is well recorded.

This whole nation is founded on the facts & beliefs that there is a GOD!, except for atheists (Psalms 14: 1).......in response to your question: NO!.....hundreds of thousand believers has experienced the power of GOD in their lives!.... so it's not easy to convince someone of something that they know is not 'true"!.....
