I know that the Bible says homosexuality is a sin both in The Law and The NT and I also know the Bible says that God hates divorce and if someone divorces and remarries, they commit adultery AND.. adultery is condemned also in both the OT and NT. So I ask why most Christians think it's ok to accept one and not the other? Both according to the Law were punishable by death but it doesnt even seem like most Pastors have a problem marrying people who've been married before (multiple times even)

I personally dont have an issue with either as all things we do are between us and God but I want to hear other Christian reasons for not treating both the same?

he was burned at the stake but accepted back into the church. He was condemned for killing, eating, and sacrificing children, molested them, abused them, tortured them. He contacted demons, and used his servants to help in this. Hired magicians to cast spells. Yet he was forgiven by the church at the time. what do you think?

I have found many statements here from atheists excluding Christians from science, and I think is absurd. Atheists want to take over Science like they were octopuses or jealous children, since Christians have their religion, and they need to hold on into something, and is turning into a cult where their prophets are Charles Darwin, Pasteur and other scientists.

Then they say the Christians aren't capable of being scientists and contribute to science and society, when there are millions and millions of Christians that are scientists that have contributed in many branches of science like
Physics,Chemistry,Astronomy,Geology,Oceanography,Paleontology,Meteorology,Botany,Zoology, Genetics ,Medicine, and many many more.

I know that there is no university that doesn't admit Christians for being Christians and don't let them be scientists and contribute to society. I have known brilliant Christians very talented in science and good professionals also that all they care about is contribut

Why should I believe in God? A book that he told people to write says so. Well who says it was inspired by him? The book did. So the only thing that says God told them to write this book is the book itself? So it is it's only evidence. So why believe in it? God says to have faith. Says who? The book again. The book that uses itself as it's only evidence? Yeah, that book. So a book that has no real evidence says I should blindly believe it because it says so?

Not a very solid arguement. Would that arguement work in a court? I If I said I didn't murder some one and my only evidence was my own story, my only witnesses are the other suspects, and the reason you should believe my story is because me and the other convicts said it's true. Would some one with that arguement be passed off as innocent in a reasonable court?

Why do we have to assume that schools are an offshoot of government and therefore religion cannot be taught there? Is this necessarily a good idea. Politics, religion, history, geography, english, mathematics are all integral areas of study to increase one's knowledge and awareness of meaningful concepts in life. Why leave out religion?
